  1. It was so obvious Hudson was making a mistake when he first went there, but some people have to learn the hard way. SMU would be a massive upgrade over Tech.
  2. Don’t see why the Coleman bros would separate. Littleton is our 5th highest ranked commit. I don’t know how that can in any way be considered “not a big fish”.
  3. Yeah I assume it’s Charles. Mbatchou I don’t care too much about, dude literally only committed last week. Charles would suck though.
  4. It’s gotta be the single worst post in this thread. And that’s saying a lot, there are some pretty terrible posts in here.
  5. This a championship level defense, what an incredible performance by them. The offense and special teams did not do their part (with the exception of Wisner who is fucking great).
  6. Tyrik Rollison? Never played at Auburn, transferred a bunch of times and ended up playing at A&M-Commerce, which I guess I should call East Texas A&M now.
  7. They probably aren’t. Take a look at their first 3 games. We need to improve a lot. Mark wasn’t right in his first game back. Hopefully he can find a rhythm before conference play.
  8. LSU just lost #1 ranked QB Bryce Underwood to Michigan, hopefully their class starts to fall apart.
  9. I think it’s more likely he just doesn’t realize that Ffrench is currently committed to Texas.
  10. He’s very good and Duncanville as a whole is unstoppable, but he became a top 15 national player before the season started. His jump happened in the offseason. My point isn’t that he isn’t a good player, my point is he got a bump for going to Bama. That’s what actually happened in the offseason.
  11. I think these recruiting services are trying to predict success instead of just ranking the players based off of tape and measurables. They know we have Arch Manning next up and Dia Bell coming in after Lacey and are just betting he won't ever start here. It’s why certain Alabama and Georgia commits get outrageous bumps, they’re thinking the chances of success at those programs is higher. I like Keelon Russell as a prospect, but there is no way in hell he’d be getting the kind of recruiting bumps he’s getting if he weren’t committed to Bama. He went from low 4-star to top 3 player in the entire country, and most of that jump happened before he even played another game.
  12. As someone who keeps up a lot with TXHSFB, Colin Simmons 1000% should have been the #1 player in the state. There was not a better high school player in Texas and it was obvious at the time. These rankings have gotten worse in recent years. It’s even more obvious with hindsight, they had Micah Hudson and Terry Bussey ranked ahead of him, complete joke.
  13. Longstreet announced his flip literally 5 minutes after Julian Lewis decommitted from USC. He made that decision a while ago he was just waiting for Lewis to officially leave.
  14. Shout out to Alfred Collins, had a great game and is having a great year.
  15. I assume Terry is going to drag this out to early signing day at this point. He’s been dragging it out for damn near half a year, what’s another couple of weeks?
  16. Yeah, I assume this was a high school game because aggy had a bye this past week Rogers goes to Mesquite Horn and Barnes goes to Skyline. Those two teams just played each other Friday.
  17. I don’t think that’s how that works. The top 3-5 teams aren’t necessarily taking recruits from each other, they could be taking the best kids from the schools below them, which would be the exact opposite of recruits being evenly distributed. Oregon finished 3rd last year with a lower score than we have right now and we’re currently 6th.
  18. Only two teams finished over 300 points last year. There are already 3 this year and we haven’t even gotten to early NSD yet. Last year won’t be an accurate gauge for this one.
  19. Tre Johnson alone makes this team more fun to watch than last years’ team. Wish I knew what “indefinitely” meant in regards to Tramon Mark though. His health will decide the teams’ ceiling.
  20. The rankings services lowered Hicks rating a ton after they reclassified him. I get it might not be the exact same because it’s all relative, but his 247 composite rating went from .9825 all the way down to .9132. Seems silly.
