Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen
Disagree, this shit is part of the problem imo. Flood has been prioritizing size over talent, and its hurting the position room. We have a bunch of giant stiffs that can't play a lick. At least give Turntine a shot on the outside, he's actually good at football. You don't need perfect measurables to be good in college, guys like Connor Williams and Sam Cosmi were smaller guys who played great at Tackle for us and then moved inside to make it in the pros.

Texas vs. Florida- 2:30pm on ESPN
Whole team played like shit, and that was coming off of a bye. Just embarrassing. OL is soft as baby shit but Arch absolutely just makes things worse. Zero situational awareness and many of those sacks are him just holding on to the ball too long. The RBs were non-existent, but Wisner, coming off of an injury, was the only RB to get more than 1 carry. Sark gave up on it pretty quickly. Its hard to be optimistic in any way about this offense, they don't do anything well.

Jake Oliver went to Jesuit didn’t he? They play in 6A. These guys don’t bother to look up or fact check anything.

Duncanville just lost to Waxahachie 28-27. Like I said, 6A is way more open than usual. Playoffs should be fun.

NC had been flirting with disaster all year. All 3 of their wins were by single digits. 6A playoffs could be really exciting this year, its more open than usual.

Texas vs UTEP - 3:15pm on SECN
Sark has to just start taking the points. This offense is not good enough to constantly be leaving points on the board.

They played the exact same non-district last year. Duncanville, North Shore, and Longview. Duncanville can't even find a 6A team to play them in non-district most years, but SOC does it every year as a 5AD2. SOC HC Jason Todd is a Samples protege.

Lancaster is already in a district with DeSoto and Duncanville and scheduled North Crowley and Aledo in the non-district. That's tough.

North Shore won that game last year 38-0. SOC wins its this year 41-31. Credit where credit is due, people killed you for saying North Shore was down. They sure looked down yesterday.

I don't disagree with your overall point, but Dematrius Davis graduated from North Shore years ago, he's not even at Auburn anymore. The QB they're replacing now is Kaleb Bailey, who just graduated this past Spring.- Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen
