  1. When you have a team that isn’t loaded with talent, you just put your best athlete at QB. He was a WR before this year.
  2. No he wasn’t, he was looking to get a bag.
  3. 247 measurements are definitely wrong or outdated. Covid wrecked the camp scene and that means way more inaccurate info. They have him at 5’10, but that came from the opening more than two years ago. He lists himself as 6’2 195 on Twitter, but obviously that’s self-reported.
  4. Well, there you go. Explains what happening with Savion.
  5. He did have a really good year. But yeah, I don’t know how to feel about this one. Makes me feel like we are striking out big time on other WRs FWIW he played QB for Grand Prairie and led them to a playoff win which is a big deal. Grand Prairie is a historically terrible football program. Nah, the offer for us might be a headscratcher, but he is not a walk-on type of player.
  6. I don’t know who James McNorton is, just pointing out the 100 number.
  7. He and CJ Williams were the two ND guys we were in on. But they’re both Cali kids and USC just got a lot more enticing for them. You’ve been gone for a while, there’s a whole legion of posters who think Sark did great this year, it’s a thing.
  8. The coach they just fired was the perfect culture fit. He was also a moron, which tells us a lot about the culture.
  9. Sarkisian said the staff is supposed to start meeting with current players this week right? We should probably see guys on our roster hitting the portal soon. We’ve got a lot of dead weight to shed.
  10. That’s a big one, if he can come back healthy.
  11. Back when he committed, the staff showed little to no interest, but back then the staff also thought they were landing every 5-star OL on the board.
  12. I’ll worry about “defending Simmons’ honor” if he actually comes here. Until then, fuck him too. If he stays at OU or follows Riley, still the two most likely options, this narrative works just fine for us.
  13. Unlike Thompson, her son is actually good. Sure, but that doesn’t mean players and parents have to just take it and like it. Let them vent What the fuck are y’all so mad about? They’re shitting on OU and and Lincoln Riley. Good.
  14. Success for Carrington meant landing the guys he was told to land, he wasn’t the one picking who to offer.
  15. Add the #5 ‘23 RB to the decommit list.
  16. Who cares? If you win in the SEC, you’re going to the playoff.
  17. The move makes total sense for Riley. He typically recruits Cali heavily. Although he only has one commit from Cali in the 22 class.
  18. USC only has 8 commits, Riley’s going to try to take dang near everyone with him I’d imagine. LA might be too far for some of them though
  19. USC makes way more sense for Riley than LSU did. Kudos to USC, they used LSU for cover and got it done quietly.
  20. Started at Tech as a redshirt freshman. Opted out of the Covid year and then transferred to junior college.
  21. Duncanville alone has double digit D1 guys just in their senior class. Won’t know for sure until we see how some of the underclassmen turn out, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it ultimately ends up being 30+ D1 guys that play in this game. You are blowing this so ridiculously out of proportion. This is the comment that set you off. Look at how benign that is.
  22. “They didn’t take his playcalling duties away they just gave them to someone else,” is the equivalent of “we didn’t lose we just ran out of time.”
  23. Ask yourself why Lake was the hot commodity and not PK.
