  1. My step dad smoked Pall Malls. They were great for lighting fireworks.
  2. The only time I ever smoked was when I was drinking and around other drinkers who were also smoking, so I smoked whatever I could mooch off people at the bar. Never smoked enough to actually buy a pack for myself. Although I do sometimes smoke when I'm driving late at night. Just to stay awake and give myself something to do, so in those rare cases usually Indian Spirits.
  3. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Senator Pop has a nice ring to it. The panel would also accept Governor Pop.
  4. At the very least, she's a witness. Call her in, question her. If (when) she lies to the FBI, charge her.
  5. Would a person taller than 5 ft even be able to fit inside that thing? Also, look at that gap between the rear panel and the bumper. Weed storage?
  6. Are you completing your dribble too soon? Before coming to a complete stop?
  7. Sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie, but I wouldn't know because I don't eat the filthy motherfuckers.
  8. i also piss in the backyard. But not to save water, rather because it is awesome, true freedom. Pissing outside on a cold winter night while looking up at the stars is sublime.
  9. Did I just see someone Charlie Kirk die fuck with the swifties?
  10. Before the super bowl last year(?) maybe two years ago(?), I was talking with a couple of undergrads who were working in the lab I work in, and somehow the conversation turned to our earliest super bowl memories. I mentioned Hall of Famer Jackie Smith dropping a touchdown pass in superbowl 13 (Dallas vs Pittsburg (Pittsburg beat the Oilers in the AFC championship game)), Dallas having to kick a field goal instead, then scoring two touchdowns in the final minutes only to lose by four points. Dudes were astonished. "Superbowl 13? Damn you are old." Half the time, I can't remember my birthday, but I remember that game like it was yesterday.
  11. Hitting that is nothing to be ashamed of. Spent a semester there in grad school 20 or so years ago. I can double confirm the talent is fantastic.
  12. Some years ago, we took our daugther to the emergency room when she fell and broke her collar bone. She sat in a room for over two hours until a doctor came into see her, said "Lets get an xray and see what that looks like" and leaves. He's probably in there for less than two minutes. Never even looked at her. An hour later the xray tech comes in takes the xray and says "I'll get this to the doctor and he'll come and talk to to you." We wait and wait and wait. Hours pass. Finally, after midnight, we say fuck it and leave. If my daugther is going to lay in bed in pain, it might as well be in her own bed. Next morning, wife calls daugther's pediatrician, gets an apt for a few hours later. Dr gets the xray from the hospital, says yep simple collar bone fracture, not offset, no separation, gives her a sling and scrip for pain, says come back in two weeks or sooner if it the pain gets worse. Months later we get a bill from the hospital. Mostly or close to 100% covered by my wife's really good insurance. We pay the couple of hundred dollars that are left, sighing in relief. Then a month later we get a bill from the doctor that "saw" her. Thousands of dollars for "examination, diagnosis, consultation." Insurance paid some of it, but we were expected to pay the rest, over 1k. We sent the doctor or whoever was his billing service a letter that said something like "You were in the room for less than two minutes. You didn't examine her, you didn't diagnose her, you didn't consult with us or her. We feel the payment our insurance has paid you is more than adequate for your services, so we will not be paying you anything else. Also, if this shows up on our credit report, we will sue you." Never heard from them again. Never showed up on our credit report. Never got sued. Fuck em.
  13. Well, supposedly the lege earmarked money (if the amendment passed) to make up for that shortfall. I'll give you two to one odds that money won't cover the shortfall. And even if it does cover the shortfall, this amendment is now permanently in the constitution (unless it gets revoked-lol), and that earmark was for only two years. And Leroy is correct, its only school taxes that get the new homestead exemption. County taxes and whatever else aren't changed by this amendment.
  14. Filmed in real time, assuming that video was taken of my guts after a plate of beef enchiladas.
  15. Probably wasn't the first time that poor bastard of a manager had to hose out the restroom after a customer rolled through four plates of beefy macaroni.
  16. He probably went to the local library and accidentally read a book about drag queens back in the day.
  17. Did it have a chocolate fountain? If so, was the chocolate fountain exposed so that any young (or young at heart) could just stick their finger in it to get a little taste? If your answer to either question is "no" then I'm sorry but you didn't get the full Golden Corral experience.
