  1. What are Shaka’s odds of being shitcanned after this season assuming NIT is our ceiling? Coin flip? Even worse than that?
  2. Texans might want to think about doing something about their defensive coaching staff during the off-season.
  3. If Rhule's offensive philosphy is centered around running the ball, why would he hire an OC who's going to emphasize chucking the ball around on 1st and 2nd down?
  4. I don't know if Rhule would fail, but I think the Cowboys would be better off with someone more likely to lean on and open up the passing game. Rhule's system seems better fitted to college than where the NFL is going and what changes the Cowboys should be making.
  5. I think GG could have been successful in the right system. Mack took the wrong lessons from the championship game against Alabama by reorienting the offense around the running game. Harsin was eventually able to fix the offense but, for whatever reason, the Diaz hire was a failure and prevented the team from returning to the heights of the 00s. Harsin leaving was pretty much the death knell for Mack at Texas.
  6. His defense has been great, but offense >> defense so why bother with hiring a DC?
  7. I know enough to know that no one uses that term to describe craft beer anymore. It's a relic, such as yourself.
  8. This just shows how critical BOB is to the Texans' success. A more mediocre coach would have lost all those close games the Texans won.
  9. Microbrew? Bitch this isn't the 90s anymore.
  10. We have a few challengers.
  11. I used to loathe the NFL, but I feel like the game has changed a lot over the past five years and now find it a lot more enjoyable to watch.
  12. The Bears oline has almost the same pass rush win rate this season as the Cowboys. The fact of the matter is that the Cowboys offense was one of the best in the league because of Dak Prescott. Notice how that blue line down there is above the red line?
  13. Idiotic of the 49ers to punt on their prior drive.
  14. That Mr. Wunderlich is incorrect.
  15. LSU is a great team, one of the 3-4 best in the country, but it is far from being singularly special.
  16. I agree wokeness can be electorally poisonous but being "superwoke" has nothing to do with believing that the rich should be expropriated. Even Trump found purchase among Republican voters by messaging what everyone knows to be true - our society is rigged in favor of the rich. Superwokeness is a wedge that prevents the building of a coalition having the breadth necessary to really tackle those issues of economic unfairness within our society.
  17. Yes, her backing down on M4A was a disaster. https://morningconsult.com/2019/12/05/warrens-health-plan-sought-balance-but-voters-arent-moved-by-middle-ground/ For being so credentialed, Warren is such a fucking idiot. I think the 23andme shit was dumber than this misstep, but it appears her waffling on M4A was the catalyst for ending her chances of winning the nomination.
  18. We ran the ball better and had more line yards in 2019 than in 2018.
  19. That’s precisely what Warren did with her two-step approach and it blew up in her face.
  20. Why would anyone support that fake Native American? It's clear her entire purpose in this campaign is to suppress Sanders' chances of winning. https://www.politico.com/news/2019/12/26/can-bernie-sanders-win-2020-election-president-089636
  21. The Warren campaign has run its course. Warren badly needs the media to get back on her side, but I don't see why that would happen.
  22. Why do you think the Cowboys are outliers with respect to other teams loading the box? NFL, of course only publishes their stats piecemeal, but Dallas doesn't look like an outlier on the Y-axis here.
  23. This isn't slightly above average: https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-what-is-pff-war-and-why-it-shows-russell-wilson-is-the-mvp To keep things in perspective, a 2 WAR player in the NFL would be like a 20 WAR player in MLB, and 1 WAR in MLB is worth around $8-11M.
  24. People itt bitch about paying Dak, but in terms of resource allocation, Elliott's contract extension should really be what Cowboys fans are complaining about. How do you spend that much money on a RB in 2019? Having the highest paid RB in the NFL is a glaring sign that your franchise is being mismanaged.
  25. Yurcich looks like the better hire, and Ash is being presented with a much more difficult challenge. I don’t think Ash is an idiot, but that hire has the clear potential of blowing up in Herman’s face next season.
