  3. That Momma, She's Crazy.
  4. I haven't been sin e Easter.....of 1991.
  5. Aren't his already tanned?
  6. I had this all set to record on the the LHN HD channel on Dish. Apparently, Dish decided not to broadcast the game in HD after all because I just sat down about 20 minutes ago to watch it and it wasn't on my DVR. So I went to the LHN and saw the replay had just began on the SD channel...with a score of 3 to 4. 15 plays later and the game was over. So they only played 10 minutes????
  7. Let me check... Nope, don't have him on my list.
  8. Vegetarians, vegans...Mormons, Scientologists. They're all fucked up.
  9. Vegetarians are as bad as Mormons - always wanting you to know the choice they made and trying to convert you.
  10. And the other 45-55% of the country will continue to support Trump and his enablers.
  11. Yeah, but it's likely to be conducted by the state of Florida so it wont be an actual civics course.
  12. Well, we know what Florida will do if you're white and have money. They'll order you to attend a civics class and earn a grade of at least a "C". https://www.villages-news.com/2022/04/13/villagers-heading-back-to-civics-class-after-cutting-deal-in-voter-fraud-cases/
  13. Damn, that was a full court no-look prayer at the buzzer. And you nailed it. I dont understand the randomness of the pick, but, hey man, nice shot.
  14. Really sucks. I'd bought tickets for the whole to see them in August at an outdoor venue in the mountains of SW Montana. My 9 year old daughter has been pestering me to see them ever since she saw photos/videos of when my son and I saw them in 2017. She's been really looking forward to this since she got her ticket for Christmas. But I completely understand them not wanting to play for awhile....and maybe even never again under the Foo Fighter moniker. And if I'm being honest, I don't really want to see them without Taylor. It just wouldn't be the same.
  15. Joe Manchin and his conflict of interest with coal is the star of NY Times "The Daily" podcast. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/29/podcasts/the-daily/joe-manchin-coal-plant-conflict.html
  16. Dave has already been through it once himself. This time is going to be even harder on him because he was so much closer to Taylor than he was to Cobain.
  17. Outside of family and friends, there are only a handful of people whose death will bring/have brought actual tears for me: Larry Bird, Earl Campbell, Vince Young, Dave Grohl, Waylon Jennings, Hank Aaron, my high school coaches, and, although I never knew it before tonight, Taylor Hawkins. Sitting here going through all the videos my son and I made when we saw Foo Fighters a few years back has got the room a little dusty.
  18. You may be right. We have tickets to see them in August at a small outdoor venue in SW Montana. I'm not sure I could go now even if they do continue. This is devastating. RIP Taylor
  19. Son of a fucking bitch! My favorite band!! RIP, Taylor Just 30 minutes ago I was just taunting a friend of mine who is at a Sevendust concert right now that we scored tickets to see the Foos at a small outdoor venue later in the summer.
  20. They needed someone fast to get his errant passes before they were intercepted.
  21. That's complete bullshit. The Horns were no more aggressive than Purdue. There's no fucking reason whatsoever that a team should shoot three times more free throws! ('d say four times more free throws, but our no-shooting shitheads missed the front end of 1-and-1 at least four times.)
  22. Finally, a little good news to end the week. https://www.alaskasnewssource.com/2022/03/19/alaska-rep-don-young-dies-88/
  23. Had to check that out for myself. Cincinnati Reds' 2022 payroll: 1. Joey Votto - $25.0 mil/yr 2. Mike Moustakas - $16.0 mil/yr 3. Shogo Akiyama - $8.0 mil/yr 4. Luis Castillo - $7.5 mil/yr 5. Tyler Mahle - $5.5 mil/yr 6. Ken Griffey, Jr - $3.59 mil/yr Yep, Ken Griffey, Jr, who hasn't played since 2010, is #6 on the Reds payroll for this season.
