  1. I think you folks saying Milroe sucks don't realize how good our D played. I thought he was going to suck and he impressed me. He was the only reason they were even in it, IMO. Kind of reminds me of when I saw the 2005 Ohio State linebackers and predicted VY would run for 200 (for those that don't remember them, let's just say catfid could tell them apart). They balled that night and we had to earn it.
  2. Not sure if intentional or a freudian slip, but Sydney Cartoon made me laugh.
  3. I thought the same thing, but then if I ever decided to go to Fayetteville, I'd recant that too.
  4. I was a huge skeptic, to say the least. I'll eat my crow.
  5. I actually think the best thing I'm seeing of sober sark is the lack of ego. Most coaches are so full of themselves they lack the ability to self evaluate and admit they made a mistake. This leads to guys rubbing everyone the wrong way, keeping ineffective offensive coordinators, or passing against Baylor when Ricky is averaging 10 yards a carry. I've never done AA, but due to family I'm pretty familiar with the whole concept, and brutal self honesty and tearing down the ego are big things. Sark seems to be willing to admit a problem and take steps to fix it Or this whole psychoanalysis is just bullshit. I'm high as hell so what do I know? (Yes- I realize the irony)
  6. That may have been his very first rape enabling.
  7. And it's that scene where he's explaining the basic rules of blackjack to Clooney and Pitt as they look at each other incredulously.
  8. What do you like about Iowa other than Greg Davis is not calling plays? My son's matriculating there next week and I guess I need to start following so we can discuss during the season. Is this thread not the "hey ctj give me a scouting report" one?
  9. Horrified? Is it a crowd of OU fans?
  10. Did you forget Reggie Roby, the Jackie Robinson of kickers?
  11. These were actually the 2 I was going to list, but by far the first one.
  12. This is a damn good starting list. Throw in Tech and we're pretty much done. I'll show myself out
  13. What could possibly go wrong leaving your tab open all night at a bar and not knowing what was charged to you until a month later when you get a bill?
  14. I have always thrown at least 50 or a 100 at each mover, depending on how tough the job was. Those poor fuckers work their asses off. And I've never had one not be genuinely appreciative for it. Maybe they're surprised because they look at me and think "this cheap fucker isn't tipping", but you can tell by their faces they're already thinking of the lap dances that's gonna buy them.
  15. I think sweat and ctj settle their differences like gentlemen - a 40 yard race at a tailgate
  16. This happened to me last fall at my son's high school football game. I laughed and walked away. The great thing is it was some middle aged Karen serving me (by serving I mean grabbing an already prepared bowl of stale nachos and a can of coke) that was obviously part of a booster group working concessions, and not some starving barista trying to pay off those philosophy grad school loans. I felt zero guilt. I'm with previous posters that have started boycotting places that want tips for doing their counter service non-bartender jobs. Almost pulled into a subway yesterday but remembered they're in on the grift. Which, now that I think about it, means that I somehow got comfortable with Jared being a pederass but tipping was my line in the sand. Not sure what that says but I do hate Penn State if that helps.
  17. Then after claiming she didn't remember, next time when something similar comes up and you repeatedly remind her that there is only one thing that matters that must be conveyed to the tenants- "stop treating me like a child!" Ask me how I know.
  18. That was it. Can't trap them, but can hunt.
  19. So we're getting Mack an NIL deal that includes a shrubbery, something nice but not too expensive?
  20. That is awesome. I bet mom was pleased, though you may have screwed yourself because she's going with on next trip. Just curious, do you do things for free for your father or do you charge him? And if the latter, how much? This thread needs to know.
