  1. Not a cat

    1923

I know Spencer is a tough guy who is good with a rifle and can handle himself pretty well, but damn if they're not setting him up to come in and go clint Eastwood man with no name on the sheepherders. I did like the line of "I can't wait for you to meet my nephew"... "No the other one".
  2. I heard the whistleblower was actually the hotel maintenance man. They complained the air conditioning was broken and everyone started cramping up.
  3. Granny's got a Glen Close thing going.
  4. Hefeweizen is German, isn't it?
  5. Good friend of mine in college who I assumed was just the son of a west Texas roughneck asked for a ride to the airport to catch a flight home. As I'm pulling into the old Mueller airport he directs me to some turnoff where the family plane was waiting for him. Real wealth often doesn't seem to need to show it off, unlike a few Fort Worth dentist's kids I knew who couldn't stop talking about their Rolex and lake house.
  6. I think their fathers were roommates...
  7. Big animals are cool to hit though. Have at it.
  8. I remember a game a few weeks ago they were talking about Renaldo "Skeets" Nehemia and RG3 had to make a comment about the nickname and whether it meant the same thing in the 80s as it does now. Now I'm not the most refined guy but even I know making jokes about slang terms for ejaculate on a national broadcast might not be a good idea. Tldr- RG3 seems to speak before he thinks a lot of the time.
  9. Sir, you are talking to a bugaboo!
  10. I hope he's resting up in heaven with 72 fat little girlfriends.
  11. Your marital status as of 12/31/22 determines your tax rate for the entire year. So you'd owe based on your joint rate, even though you were single at the time of conversion. Also, don't do it, it's a huge mistake you'll eventually regret (the marriage, not the rollover).
  12. I do like the banter hot tree hugger gives Beth. Yeah, I'm fucking your Dad, what are you gonna do about it?
  13. I retire in a couple of months. This is my plan. Already have the RV.
  14. That's also ignoring the fact any NIL deal would be for 1 year vs 4 in the NFL, plus endorsements he'd be getting in the NFL, starting the clock on free agency, risk of injury etc. Tldr- absent some 30mm nil deal there is no way we even get close to shore, financially speaking. He's going pro, as he certainly should.
  15. I'll be the contrarian and say it looked slightly forward on TV. But would have liked a better look via replay.
  16. My favorite was when they reviewed the rojo touchdown and concluded there wasn't clear evidence he scored. Ok fair enough, it looked like he scored but he might have been down on the 6 inch line so the call of no touchdown stands. So they proceed to put the ball on the 1 yard line.
  17. In defense of the Skylar haters, the very first episode we are introduced to her she's giving Walter a half hearted handie for his 50th birthday while also surfing the web for work. For a bunch of middle aged men that have been married at least once (i.e. probably the majority of this board) that's like introducing a person as a baby seal clubber then expecting us to like them.
  18. Oh look, Beth acts like a spoiled bitch with no self control and causes all sorts of problems for everyone. Should I spoiler that? Also, the one spot on the entire ranch that's tilled is coincidentally the very spot the wolves were. Those game wardens did not seem skeptical enough.
  19. Rip is just a shitty people manager. Tells two guys to stake out the cow corpse at night and kill the wolves when they come back. Bitches at them for shooting tagged wolves in the dark using thermals. Tells the kid at the last second to get saddled up then bitches at him that he's not immediately ready. It's probably a good thing he and Beth can't have kids because those kids would be all sorts of fucked up. For the horse riders out there, is avoiding holes the rider's job or the horse's? Seems like a lot for the rider to keep up with and I've always assumed horses naturally looked where they were going. But I obviously know shit about horseback riding.
  20. If the wolves are depredating (i.e. attacking) livestock you can get a tag to kill them even though they're otherwise protected. Texas has something similar for depredating hogs where you can shoot them with no hunting license. Of course hogs are always fucking shit up, so they're kind of by definition depredating something.
  21. 2013, but the fact you were too lazy to look it up just proves your point.
  22. I moved from Denver to Minneapolis. Loved Denver, hate Minneapolis. So since you seem to have the exact opposite tastes as me, you'll love Minnesota.
