  1. That was indeed a Texaco. Source- my sole credit card in college was a Texaco card.
  2. It's not like you need it escape proof just something a sentient being can undo but a zombie couldn't. Bungee cord, combo lock, loosely tied rope, broom handle jamming the track like all grandmothers seem to have on sliding doors... Any of that shit would work. I'm not sure you can tell, but that's always bugged me.
  3. That, or also in the running for my personal favorite (and still Lucille related to keep with the thread)- Oscar: Well, sure. The question is, which way do I try to get it in her? Michael: I don’t need any details. Oscar: Maybe I’ll put it in her brownie. Michael: Hey
  4. They finally got rid of the Seaward.
  5. This. My kid is in the process of choosing schools. My support consisted of saying last fall "hey figure out where you're applying and I'll give you my credit card so you can pay the application fees. " After watching that show, I'm either 1)sane, or 2) an uninvolved parent who doesn't care. I'm leaning toward #1 though.
  6. Seems the fact there's no extension in the works is a given and Sexton has to know that. Only two options- Ari Gold gtfo gif or come back for another year on original contract. CDC would be crucified if he did an extension.
  7. And we can confidently sign her to a long term contract with a full buyout if we fire her.
  8. I've got a friend that has been to an erotic masseuse or two. He assured me that it's really hard to confuse with a legit therapist when you're setting up the appointment. Allegedly.
  9. No west mall but didn't Al Gore have something similar alleged by a masseuse? No physical assault but exposing wood and asking her to touch it. I bet that behavior's common as hell among rich/powerful men.

Damn, even an open one freaked you out? I've finally found a bigger claustrophobe than I am, and that's saying something. I did an open one for a heart calcification scan and that was bearable, but a full on closed MRI would require full sedation.
  11. Count me as stupid and delusional because I'd have never gotten married if I knew what was coming (or more accurately not coming) in the bedroom. We all knew that everyone else's wives stop giving them, but we also all knew our girl was special and it wouldn't happen to us.
  12. I did not know about this.
  13. The funny thing is he's in HR and when a mutual friend of ours at the company had a tough time with the same issues, he told that friend just go do 30 days rehab, take a break, get clean and when you come back your job will be here and nobody will care that you were gone. Said friend did exactly that and is doing great. He knows the answer but just won't take his own advice.
  14. Just got off the phone with a coworker who was married to a former coworker. He's a former coworker because he got canned for being drunk on a morning conference call. He was married because they just divorced a few months ago. I keep hoping for that guy to hit rock bottom but looks like he's not there yet.
  15. I believe that both Colt's dad and Shipley's dad went to ACU around the same time. Not sure of their living arrangements or if they even knew each other.
  16. To be fair, Bill has dropped a lot of acid.
  17. I hope she sees this, bro.

    Getting old sucks

You know what makes me feel old and exhausted? The mere thought of having kids aged 32, 15 and 13.
  19. Oh I figured from your screen name you'd know, just explaining for the 99% that are non-sotans on this board.
  20. PWB. That's Prestigious West Bloomington for you Texans. Though most know it as the home of Joey Freshwater.
  21. On a purely anecdotal note, there has been a lot of real estate activity in my little second ring Minneapolis suburb and almost all the buyers have been from Minneapolis proper. This progression is fairly normal as yuppies get school age kids and move to the burbs but damn if it doesn't seem to be on steroids this spring. I'm guessing a lot of folks in Minneapolis are getting nervous about the trial.
  22. Yeah, that's their only real play here. Hammer home the fentanyl in his system and convince the jury Floyd was going to die no matter what. Even if the police handbook says knee to the neck is ok in this case (and I don't know one way or the other if it does), that's going to come off as a Nuremberg defense to jurors.
  23. I haven't seen the interview nor do I plan to. I'm basing it entirely on her actions I've seen so far- if you don't see her isolating him from his friends, family other support groups I don't know what else to tell you. You could have gotten a good deal on the rare guns she forced him to sell when she had him give up hunting though. We get it, you love you some MM. I don't and see her as a highly manipulative person working her angles. One of us is wrong and neither will be convinced otherwise. I'll leave it at that.

51 and I still play 2 on 2 hoops with my 16 year old and his two buddies. It's only half court but I feel it the next day. Full court days are long gone.
