  2. This is my focus now. Do I move to all cash as trade war will cause a major correction?
  3. You asked for an example of institutional racism. I provided an example. Sorry, it does not fit into your white/black/hispanic paradigm of racism
  4. I don't think it is twitter dude but a legitimate reporter. Trump comms director was asked on TV if this was true and there no denial.
  5. Hit is the wrong word but being positioned for the shift / demand for AI focused processors. NVDA had languished for years and seemed from an outside perspective that they stumbled upon this market on accident and only happened to be best positioned for it vs visionary roadmap.

  7. Being an asshole isn't a signal for honesty. He is the opposite of honest and an asshole. Explains a lot of your other posts.

  10. CEO was throwing so much shit at the wall and finally had a huge hit. We can argue if it was a deliberate road map but in my view it wasn't. I have no technical capability so basing my opinion on ex-Intel employees who are obviously bias.
  11. Listening to this now. Focused solely on Intel https://techpinions.com/tech-pinions-podcast-intels-challenges-and-opportunities/53214
  12. Seems early to say Intel has been disrupted. They have significantly higher margins than the rest of the industry given their integrated model and market dominance. There are lots of head winds facing Intel example being that they missed mobile. Processors are also moving into more niche use cases (e.g. AI, autonomous driving). I would not be surprised that in 5 yrs time that Intel loses a lot of market share but to predict that and blame it on their model is a fairly bold prediction. It is less about their integrated model and rather their inability to deploy R&D to find the next wave of processors or get lucky like Nvidia.
  13. Example of institutional racism https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/02/us/politics/asian-americans-complaint-prompted-justice-inquiry-of-college-admissions.html
  14. 1234 I attended a wedding a few weeks ago and was seated with fairly recent graduates (3-4 years post). I was surprised by their frustration at the job market and opportunities as most went to good to great schools (e.g. Berkeley, UC systems) and had quality degrees (e.g. economics, engineering). They all attended coding bootcamp and now are programmers in the bay area. They had to pay for coding bootcamp after graduating from a quality university with a respectable degree. While the job is way better and pay decent, it is ridiculous to blame the youth as the decent pay jobs are few and far between at the lower level.
  15. There have been a lot of studies proving institutional racism. Guessing spanky is going full Tahoe and will be justifying pedophiles next
