  1. Especially on the no calls on Dukes last two possessions. Both of which I fucking garafuckingtee he will get come March.
  2. Uh? I think the consensus is he already has one. If his record up to this point hasn’t gotten him fired. I’m not real sure what would?
  3. There is a reason that even with the success he has found in Pickens county. His name simply doesn’t come up in the next hot head coach conversations.
  4. Hell a Marine made mine? And thinking about it, he also made a bad ass power hitter out of a surplus O2 mask pump.
  5. Shit. Got the State right, missed high and wide on the team. How did they lose to the Bucks..
  6. The correct nomenclature is “grass mask”....
  7. How did this Saints team lose to the Jaguars?
  8. You’re right, that is an unpopular opinion.
  9. Funny how the SEC actually looks when you remove their marquee teams. Pretty much like every other conference.
  10. Just like he did at Georgia. And why they would start each year ranked in the top 10 only to be exposed. He has a good arm, and should be proud of making it to the NFL. But in truth nothing really special even when complimented with better then average skill players.
  11. Chill, just wait until it happens to Saban and Alabama and it somehow causes them to lose in some way. Rest assured that we will form a committee, brainstorm the issue at hand. And then get a fix implemented within a day or two. Of course from a completely impartial committee made up of very impartial former SEC coaches, President’s and generally good folks. Then those at ESPU will tell us how great the fix is on the following 6:00 Sportscenter. Followed by Desmond, Kirk, Reece and Pollock. Who will certify and help us “breakdown” the new rule on the next segment of Gameday. Brought to you by Home Depot and the SEC.
  12. aggy runs their mouths about everything but winning. And though many schools spin failure in that way, aggy does it far more frequently.
  13. Asking that question is somewhat similar to asking if would Mack return?
  14. Not exactly true, if you go back and look at some of the preseason “everyone’s a prognosticator threads”. There are a few of us that thought that winning 10 games, and getting a Big12 title shot AND winning it were very possible. And dare I say expected. It is true that our reasoning how that scenario would take place was way off. But with OU, OSU, Baylor, TCU all having significant losses at key positions. It was fair to say most games were a pick em. The games with Maryland and Tulsa didn’t frighten anyone (Oop’s), though the USC game was thought to be a loss (Oop’s again). Not to mention that a few of the close losses last year that so easily could have went our way (and in a way that has been this years team’s greatest achievement, winning close games). Add in that we had just came off a bowl victory with a solid defensive effort, and had our QB with an additional year under his belt going into the next campaign. Even though we were all in a disagreement over how Sam would play (there is that Oop’s again). So while the “how we would do it” was far from being on point. The fact that some of us thought it could be done was not.

Some naive people in here. The current state of college football is nothing but a construct of the bowl committee’s agenda/appurtenances to drain every fucking dollar out of the sport. They do not care about a championship, who gets left out or any other element of the sport. They care about money, and how to keep as much of it as possible without having to spend a dime of their own money for the very product they sell. And keeping the bowls the most relevant component of the game. Issues like expansion of the playoffs is out of the question because to do that would require that some quarter or semi final games would be played on the competing schools campuses. Something the bowl committee’s will absolutely never accept. Because they don’t get a cut of that. And then it wouldn’t be long before the schools realize they could actually start dictating terms to the very bowl committee’s that have yanked their chains (the universities involved) for over a century. Simply by creating their own committee and renting out the venues at a much lower cost. AND being able to negotiate their own TV arrangement leaving the bowls completely out of that negotiation. With Hoolihan now gone, who by most accounts was most powerful man, from the most powerful committee. We may possibly see some type of shift if his replacement lacks the power to consolidate all of the bowls ideology to follow the current model. Until then we get this mockery of a selection that serves the bowl committee’s agenda. Nothing more.
  16. Sherman had his time. And yeah, “they” want the points. Because whether anyone wants to admit it or not. The games are far more entertaining when both teams could possibly score and win a game. 40-35 is a far more fan friendly game then a 10-14 game.
  17. Well, I laughed at Herm thinking that was a a disaster waiting to happen. And though the jury is still out. Knocking off Michigan State was a bigger win then I ever thought he would get. So I guess I will hold off on Les until he is in place and see what happens. Kansas has been so bad, for so long. It just seems like the task is impossible and no one can win there.
  18. Remember back in 1992 those dumb fucking retards enjoyed thumbing their noses at Texas. Thinking the jump to the SEC saved them from the implosion of the once mighty SWC. And the move would hurt Texas. Their collective believed that success was but a heartbeat away. In reality, some quarter of century later they have a few track titles and Nolan Richardson’s legacy in round ball. And in the only thing they really care about, football. They do not possess a single conference championship. Not even a division of a conference championship. Basically the same level of success they would have had by simply dropping the sport, which ironically it appears they have.
  19. Jeez, Colt. He should already be a starter. I hope he has a good game to get a starting job. If not for the Roid’d out Steeler he probably already has a starting job.
  20. I’m not so sure Mond could play against air and “pass all over”. I have watched the guy play multiple times, and at best he is a 35% completion guy. I have seen him throw a post that showed he had a strong arm. He overthrew it, and was nowhere near his receiver, but it was a strong throw.
  21. I thought the Big 12 and SEC have an agreement that both conferences highest ranked teams that didn’t make the playoffs match up? Is that no longer the agreement?
  22. Jesus duke, you just need to stop. I get the hate, but you obviously never went through the reserve officers training corps. Nor had any inclination to do so. Stick with jizz jars, poorly stacked logs, and financial reports. That is more your wheel house.
