  1. Man, you’re missing the fucking point. There are reasons he minds his own business in Pickens county under Dabo. It has nothing to do with his coaching acumen.
  2. I’m so tired of that narrative.
  3. Now we get the health reasons
  4. Perhaps, but I sure would like to seem them go through an actual playoff just so I could see it. And you’re probably right. BUT: You take the DII set up where they would have to travel to the other teams campus and win 4 games against teams from different parts of the country, in different time zones. That earned their spot on the field, and not some fucking eye test. Then Imagine them playing Washington last night in those conditions as opposed to basically always playing at what amounts to a neutral site near home in the south. Texas, OU, OSU, probably Tech could put 40 on this slow ass Michigan defense. And yet the “eye test” rattled on all week how bad ass they are. When in truth their slow, cant cover a cross route, and pure hype.
  5. Strange sequence. Listening to all of them basically laying out Urban’s exit strategy for his many health reasons was unusual. Especially Pollocks cracker ass knowing the word esophageal, and knew how to use it a sentence. So yeah, that was rehearsed.
  6. Well, they have gone full retard. And for the first time aligances are being shown. Desmond for Big Blue, Herbstreit handjobing Georgia for Pollock, who in turn is handjobing Kirk’s OSU in return. Reece, the smug bastard throws out “why not two SEC teams”. As in basks’s In his Alabama GED glory. This playoff shit is the suck. Why even go through this? Eye test, good losses, these fuckers have invented an entire new language to pigeon hole this nonsense into reality.
  7. As much fun as Leach is. His ass gets pretty fucking tight with everything on the line. Throw in some shitty weather and just like that dreams die.
  8. Turnovers..it’s always turnovers.
  9. Why? Sure Texas has some issues. And Alabama has a great team. But, what team have they played that could really put pressure on their defense? Texas does have receivers that can control space, they go zone, Texas wins that match up. We can also RPO far more efficiently then any team they have played this year. As good as LSU defense may be. Bama could load up knowing there was little to no threat of a vertical passing game. Which is pretty much what they did. There were plays were all 11 defenders were within 5 yards of the LOS. Flip it over and ask what does Alabama do that Texas hasn’t seen? Run power? I think that plays into Texas’ strength. And Tua biggest play is pretty much a simplified version of what most big 12 teams run. In fact the intangible is Sam. Healthy he presents Alabama their biggest problem. Because they must respect the Texas passing game, and have to play man. They go zone and Texas would move up and down the field on them. In a man to man scheme shifts the point of attack numbers to Texas on called QB run plays. All that said. If they played next week and you asked me to bet on who do I take? I would take Texas. And I very well may lose. But I think it would be a good game. And I wouldn’t be shocked if Texas won.
  10. Damn, one look at that stadium tells you all you really need to know about the priorities of those in power at Kansas. With all the money they have been given since being a Big12 member that place is a disgrace to the conference. There are 1A high schools in Georgia that play in better facilities.
  11. It did, but the ball had no zip on it. Sam obviously has a strong enough arm to normally rope that same throw accurate or not.
  12. That was the first throw that Sam’s arm showed some issues.

    UCF

Some of you really don’t understand how our Bowl system works. It has nothing to do with scheduling, or who did what to whom. It is about career criminals like Hoolihan (who fortunately just retired) who for years manipulated the different configurations of who the champ is long before we got to this ridiculous thing we call a playoff. By deciding who would play in THEIR bowl game. Houlihan, as well as his other puppet masters who’s long reach of power and money are the one’s who control the major bowls, AND forced the imaginary narrative of how WE MUST include the bowls to determine a championship. This was his baby the entire time. It worked because some cared so much about the bowls or were paid off under the table (like the Big 10 with their tie to the Rose) didn’t realize that the bowl system was an antiquated method of the mid 19th century. When a champion was selected via media outlets prior to the end of the season, and the bowl was a “reward” for a team who had a successful year. They were absolutely, never intended to determine anything. They just provided a rust belt team an opportunity to see some fucking sunshine in the middle of their depressing winter. And collect a huge paycheck for doing so. A paycheck that would go straight to the school from the networks. If we eliminated the middle man (the bowl group). And played the games on campus. That money goes straight to the schools. You want a championship? You shit can the bowl system, and simply follow the DII system. A system where the individual universities host the quarter, semi, and championship game. And eliminate the bowls altogether. And allow the money to go from television and advertising straight into the different universities coffers. And fucking stop arguing about scheduling, eye test, what if’s, and the so called experts at ESPN and play the fucking thing out on the field. Then we will know once and for all if UCF can play with Alabama, Texas or anyone else. And make millions for each school who participates. It just takes one conference to stand their ground and demand fair play, and hopefully another to side with them. And before anyone thinks you can incorporate the bowls read up on Hoolihan’s position on how he absolutely fought the very idea of playing any type of semi or quarter final games on campus for fear of being phased out. He wanted and got the conferences in lock step because those who run the damn things didn’t understand or were paid off for failing to see they too could negotiate with TV and advertising executives. And tell the bowls to fuck off.
  14. That is an actually pretty damn good response. Though I don’t think it should have anything to do with the Hall. The entire league was dirty for more than a decade. Sports writers who dog the guys who made the most of it during that time is disingenuous. And simply don’t like that they broke records they didn’t think they should have. But the ugly truth is many of those same records were actually set by players who were themselves using an assortment of different substances. Just no one gave a shit at the time.
  15. Neither will Melo apparently.
  16. Especially on the no calls on Dukes last two possessions. Both of which I fucking garafuckingtee he will get come March.
  17. Uh? I think the consensus is he already has one. If his record up to this point hasn’t gotten him fired. I’m not real sure what would?
  18. There is a reason that even with the success he has found in Pickens county. His name simply doesn’t come up in the next hot head coach conversations.
  19. Hell a Marine made mine? And thinking about it, he also made a bad ass power hitter out of a surplus O2 mask pump.
  20. Shit. Got the State right, missed high and wide on the team. How did they lose to the Bucks..
  21. The correct nomenclature is “grass mask”....
  22. How did this Saints team lose to the Jaguars?
  23. You’re right, that is an unpopular opinion.
  24. Funny how the SEC actually looks when you remove their marquee teams. Pretty much like every other conference.
  25. Just like he did at Georgia. And why they would start each year ranked in the top 10 only to be exposed. He has a good arm, and should be proud of making it to the NFL. But in truth nothing really special even when complimented with better then average skill players.
