  1. Other then the obvious ignorance of those threads regarding race. You would think that one of those cock grabbers would at least take the time to look at Georgia’s population explosion since the 70’s. There are more people in metro Atlanta then in the entire state of Mississippi. Last time I looked the state of Georgia only lagged behind the more obvious states like California, New York, Texas, Florida and Ohio in terms of population. Not to mention that there is a shit ton of high quality football talent in the state of Georgia. Made up of all types of ethnicity, playing at schools across the lower 48. you just can’t fix stupid.
  2. Jerry Jones is just one of many strange millionaires that own a professional franchise. And subsequently surrounded themselves with yes men and lackey’s to the point of clouding the very qualities that made them their millions. Being part of a national championship team at the collegiate level in 1964 doesn’t nearly check enough boxes to be chiming in on...well anything, in the modern game of professional football. He has at the same time managed to make his franchise one of the most valuable of all franchises. Yet at the same time they have been swimming in quicksand since he fired the best hire he ever made. And the one guy who knew what the fuck he was doing. That is one hard headed mother fucker.
  3. I saw this and blew snot out my nose. Fucking solid right there...
  4. I knew about Acho, but I was unaware that there appears to be some ankle biting going on between current players. Which isnt necessarily a bad thing, I just wasn’t aware of it.
  5. Geez, what does the brain trust do with Beatty now? Fire him and start over AGAIN. Or say fuck it and give him another year?
  6. Texas will kill Grier and company. Just my take of course.

    I told you

Well, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
  8. Wow, some of you are buying the Willis Reed I’m hurt watch me explode for 49 routine? I don’t buy having a legitimate shoulder issue as a defensive guy unless there is a lot of chemistry involved. And even then few can take that level of pain. Hager doesn’t strike me as that type of individual.
  9. Nope, I will be surprised as shit if they pull that off.
  10. Well phlegm you have improved the thread. I’ll give you that.
  11. I don’t think he believed it when he said it. He is just like the rest of those smug bastards, especially Reese. Towing the company line.
  12. You know the old saying, it takes one to know one. There is a reason I notice things like that. It pretty much killed my own career. One of my only regrets in life is not having the good fortune of having someone pull me to the side when I was still a young man and tell me to correct that part of my character.. Who knows, I may have even been able to accomplish my own goals.
  13. That narrative is continuing to change even as I type this. Dropping Mike Stoops ass and giving the job to Ruffin has most critics believing that he has already corrected some core issues regarding their defense. And have also conceded that ou can probably score on anyone. And unlike Mike Stoops Ruffin has actually earned his way into the job. That short video of Ruffin’s ass dancing around after their game (something I normally can’t fucking stand watching coaches do) served an entirely different purpose. It shows that the players support him. Something I am going to imagine was damn near impossible for them to do under dumb ass Stoops.
  14. I really don’t buy into losing by 3 shows improvement over losing by 10, but that is just me. What I do count is wins and losses. Consider that he and Riley started at the same time and Herman has almost 3 times as many losses during the same period. All while being paid twice as much. Were there obvious and extenuating circumstances to this disparity? Of course, the biggest being at the most important position on the field. Riley was gifted one Heisman winner, and very well could go two for two with guys he never actually recruited. But at the end of the day a coach is tied to his record. No one will ever offer up excuses why coach X lost X amount of games. Only that they happened under his watch. It is why they have the earning potential that they all enjoy. And why I’m sure CDC thought of all this while watching ou go to the playoffs last year. And is still in the conversation this year even after Texas beat them.
  15. I have no idea if you are correct or not. But based on my observations he sure as hell is one emotional type of guy. No way he plays poker. If he does he sucks at it. From the made for TV looks/expressions he consistently provides television it isn’t very hard to see what is on his mind at any particular moment. The end of the K-State game was classic with the big exhale of relief telling all the world that he was fully aware he just dodged a bullet. I believe that same emotion serves him well when things go right. But they betray him if they don’t. His reaction was 100% that of a very immature adult who was already worrying/fearing what the fuck he was going to be required or have to say during post game interviews. I believe that when he loses it physically hurts him. Not only does he wear it on his sleeve, he is unable to deal with it without using more emotion. He really needs someone close to him to help him get over that before he loses it in a much worse way.
  16. Actually his biggest mistake was suggesting that a current player is using drugs. Either be the professional you claim you are and address it by speaking with the coaches that you know about it. And before you report it you are giving them a chance to address it. This allows the coaching staff some wiggle room. And allows Acho further access to Texas football. As a reporter you don’t personally engage a player and become part of the fucking story. By suggesting that a current player is using with innuendo without first talking to the Texas head coach before plastering it on social media is not even close to being professional. It’s being a hot take no journalism hack.
  17. I’m not sure what he meant so far as 4 star guys. But there is plenty of talent to match up with any team on the current schedule. IF they play as a unit. Except of course his persistent desire on playing Hagar on more plays then he should. I’ll never believe that is the best option. Other then that Orlando’s problem is no different then any other DC who coaches in this league. For every K-State game he manages, he gives us last nights performance as well. Requiring the offense to bail them out. It is more about how fucking inconsistent the defense can be at times. And that sits on Todd’s very well paid shoulders.
  18. ????? Not sure I follow. Do you mean the Big12 CG, or the playoffs? Because if ou and Texas win out the fate of a possible playoff invite will resolve itself in the championship game between the two. So far as the conference. Everyone else will have multiple losses in conference, and won’t even have a chance at making the Big12 championship game. So the tiebreaker you mention really doesn’t come into play? Or am I missing something?
  19. Feel the same. Don’t forget how many laughed out load about the hire in the first place. And said a lot of bad things regarding the man’s character. He has proven that he knows far more then what many believed. No one is saying he is playoff bound. But, he has damn sure shown that if (or when) he gets equal talent his team will be a tough out.
  20. Someone (I don’t remember who or I would credit them) pointed out that the line splits State were using were much different then anything they had used up until last nights game. And that the wider split was causing Texas some trouble defining responsibilities along the point of attack. The same individual also noted how off balance some Texas defenders appeared to be as the play progressed allowing states guards and tackles to take advantage of this lack of balance and essentially push them out away from the point of attack. This particular fact was noted during the broadcast when the OSU tackle literally pancaked the Texas defensive tackle.

  22. What the fuck is this shit? No one with a brain bigger then a bulls nut thinks that any loss can be statistically quantified as good. Or better then another. They all count the same...zero..dick....nada. Fuck I can’t wait until we are elite.
  23. You’re correct. You didn’t run into the thread screaming aw geez man. But what you did do was attempt to be the smartest person in the room......and you’re not. Not even fucking close. Just cuz your mother worked in the lunchroom doesn’t trump those that actually have suited up and played the fucking game. Asshole...
  24. Oh hell, I’ll always believe there is a human element to it. Seeing ou get called for holding was a perfect example. In fact I saw calls go against them two weeks ago I haven’t seen go against them in years. I also believe the SEC has a secret decoder ring that always favors the teams that benifits the Birmingham Bunch. That is one of the worst kept secrets here in the south. Whether true or not, it has always been believed that SEC officials have their own agenda. And why the conference as a whole doesn’t like traveling outside of their area of influence. It ain’t a fucking coincidence that Alabama, LSU etc all of a sudden became very comfortable playing in Texas. It was only AFTER aggy’s dumb asses let them in did they decide to play an early season tough game in state. Proving it however is an entirely different matter.
