  1. I sort of look at it that way as well. More then a couple of those losses at KSU had a lot more to do with who was wearing a headset, and not a helmet.
  2. Well, he’s fucking correct. Any given week you see some crazy shit. That is the biggest change over the last 30 years. The percentage of gimme games has dropped considerably.
  3. Ha, Ha, I’m here watching this shit with a bunch of old IPTAY money guys. They will fucking crucify Dabo if they lose this game.
  4. Exactly. I’m guessing if it’s not a injury, or some legal issue. Then they basically agreeed to give the bull pin a go just to get some solid reps. Riley simply told him that it doesn’t matter if he starts against Baylor. he has a crack at the Heisman by beating Texas, WV, etc. no one will remember the Baylor game if he is successful against the stronger teams. Not to mention every fucking body is aware of what is going on at Clemson and Bama. I believe the days of a kid sitting down if he feels he has the It, are over. Especially if Clemson loses today. That will be a huge story line. The future kids will finally have actual leverage.
  5. I feel the same. And not just because of the strength of the pairing. The crowd itself would almost assuredly break up to see Woods, taking a certain amount of pressure off of the other groups who could play with some anonymity while in their shadow. Getting to holes 7,8,9 without getting behind would favor the US.
  6. Well, I have crashed in both a Lear 36 Longhorn, and a Mitsubishi MU-2 turboprop. And I can say with authority that When you fuck up the approach never panic and take it back in the air. Leave the fucker on the deck.
  7. I can’t believe that you guys are not laughing at the article pointing out that a 90 year old guy “may be losing his touch”? No shit, by 60 you start losing touch with a bunch of shit. Much less the complexity of a football program. The fact this guy is upright is a testament to his constitution.
  8. Overall I think Dabo is an idiot. Weird press conferences talking about sleeping with mama and shit. Just a goofy bastard. Not to mention it took him almost 5 years, and a woodshed ass whippin’ from the Mountaineers to discover the power of IPTAY. I wasn’t living here a fucking month and knew of their connections to Charlie Pell and the recruiting of the Perry brothers. But, in this case he handled as well as any coach could have. I would guess he feels pretty confident that his roster is stronger then any regular season opponent. And would probably win regardless of who was behind center. So go ahead and get the kid some meaningful reps before the possible playoff. Besides, with Tua lighting it up, Dabo almost has no choice but to go with the kid. Simply because he has an NFL arm. Dabo is just playing the long game, hoping he doesn’t find himself in another game like last years Syracuse match up. That is when he would get second guessed by his fan base for not having some experience on the bench. And if one is honest, if you’re going to have a problem, that is pretty damn good problem to have. Beats the shit out of rolling a stiff out there and hoping for a 40 yard herp-a-derp miracle.
  9. Shit, the loser bench in Animal House is far more accurate. Though Kevin Bacon actually represented aggy pretty well with the “Thank you sir, may I have another” line. That’s pure fucking aggy right there...
  10. More overreaction after a loss. That is the Big12’s biggest liability going forward. Most of the teams can beat each other on any given Saturday. There is no one team head and shoulders above the rest. All suffer from one phase of their game having some issues. And with a championship being determined by having to beat someone possibly twice, it is going to be hard to get a playoff team. It would be healthy for the conference to have Texas, ou, Okie lite, and TCU all strong. But the math is against that. In the SEC you can avoid such problems simply by not playing a strong program every eight years. Think about this, ou is undefeated (3-0) against Alabama since the turn of the century. And has played them roughly half as many times as Georgia (Georgia is 3-4 since 2000), who is in the same fucking conference! How is that shit even fucking possible? Comparing the two conferences is all but impossible.
  11. Wow, I admit that I don’t don’t do the social media thing. But, if that is an example of what goes on I’m not missing anything. I experienced more cerebral insults in elementary school.
  12. That is actually pretty spot on right there.
  13. Some of you are a trip. Put away that childish shit and watch some of that game. Army is pretty fucking salty. When ou could actually get the fucking ball they scored almost at will, save one call that damn near cost them the game. But Army represented well, and they play hard. The Woolfolk kid can play anywhere, he is fucking tough. And of course depth, which they have so little of. Fun to watch actually, and glad it wasn’t us. Do not schedule them fuckers in the middle of the season when they are starting 12 seniors.
  14. I’m sure most aggy’s didn’t get anywhere near a fucking computer after that game. They know they are in the same shit they have always been in. Most of that stupid shit is people who are bored and just having fun at aggy’s expense. Something they make incredibly easy. And the Auburn guys statement has merit. Living in the Deep South most of these crackers I live around had no fucking idea who the fuck aggy was when they showed up on their schedules. Hell, most of them cared more about arguing about southern Barbecue being better then anything in Texas. And the ones my age or older remember bits and pieces of the FedEx years, Jackie and aarrrceee. I just shake my head whenever any of them are scheduled to play them and tell where to find aggypieda.
  15. I watched most of the reply of the ou mess. I’m doimg this from memory, but the time of possession for ou was roughly 8:30 during regulation. Their scoring drives were crazy fast like 1:30, 2:30, 2:30, and a failed 4th and 1 that would have iced the game was less then a minute (recovered a batted down pass). Army completely controlled the game and the clock, and should have won in regulation. But apparently they do not have a kicker as their coach made an odd decision and elected to go for it rather then kick a field goal. ou is a good offensive team. With a solid scheme and some solid receivers. But Stoops’ defense is really a bad unit. How he still manages a check is far more impressive then his coaching skills. But they ain’t a top ten team, and it is not even close.
  16. Hold the fucking phone. Because you know the AD your something special? Uh, hate to break it to some of you, but there are at least three on this site that I know of who know the AD pretty well. That doesn’t mean they know anything about football. And it sure as hell doesn’t qualify them to have anything more then an opinion on the progression of a collegiate QB. But, you don’t have to know too much to see that Sam did a great job of securing the football. And made some really nice throws against a defense that came into DKR thinking that the task at hand would be relatively easier than what it actually turned out to be.

I still don’t understand his pregame comments? Why would a coach single out an opposing teams player? Especially at the collegiate leveI? In truth I really don’t know much about him. But he can’t be so fucking stupid to not know that for all of his success against Texas since entering the Big12. It came to him on a platter against some of the statistically worst Texas teams in history? That doesn’t make you great, that makes you lucky.
  18. It does seem to be following his career MO. Few will argue that he had shown that he was fully capable of assembling a quality team. It also has shown those nagging WTF loses that would crop up during a campaign. And here is what will rip your heart out. Let’s suppose Texas beats the shit out of every remaining team on he schedule by 20 points? That Maryland loss would in effect lay waste to what would otherwise be an indisputable playoff invite. For all of that great football to be played, only to be left out of the festivities by a committee that will use that opening day loss against Texas. ESPN is essentially painting that exact scenario with its OP on the playoff selection process in their post game page.
  19. Strange how shit works out. If Texas wins out, the playoff committee would look at that Maryland loss and use it against Texas to put the loser of the SEC (which is looking to be Al and Ga) championship game in. Because you know, SEC and all that. Which would be frustrating as hell.
  20. Yeah, I sort of wish they would have won today. Mostly because I’m superstitious and shit. Because of their inept play I can already see their game plan. Play conservative, burn clock to try and shorten the game. And hope they get a try for the win at the end.
  21. That’s a salty Army squad. Finally wrestled the CIC trophy away from Navy last year for the first time in forever. And the Woolfolk kid will make a fine officer......from the real cadet Corp.
  22. It’s a Mike Stoops defense, it’s nothing but chinks (no racist). There ain’t no armor.
  23. Yeah, the looked much different once Robinson took off.
  24. TCU is a different offense with Robinson running. Unless this is just an anomaly, his arm is nothing to fear.
