  1. And Trump says, It's good to be the King.
  2. What mind?
  3. Melania could shoot him and not be indicted.
  4. Weekly news in the run-up to mideterms
  5. There were 9 million voters in 2016. We can estimate how many die each year by looking at the average age of eligible voters, say 18 to 85 which encompasses 67 years. 9 million divided by 67 is 134 thousand. Now older people are more likely to vote and more likely to die, so my 100,000 estimate stated previously is likely off by 50,000, so make it 150,000 Texas voters die each year and they will be disproportionately Republican voters as they are predominantly older white voters. I do agree that Latinos straight out of high school or newly naturalized do not tend to vote, but over time enough of them will to add up.
  6. It was some research I did during the run-up to the 2016 election and posted on the old site. Basically (off the top of my head) about 100,000 Texas voters die each year with ~75% of of those being republican voters for a net loss of 50,000 votes a year. It is easy to account for 175,000 new Latino voters since that is approximately the number graduating high school each year. There is a smaller group being naturalized each year along with a lot of other foreigners that tend to lean Democratic. It might be more accurate to say 175,000 to 200,000, but I seem to recall reading that the numbers will shrink a little sometime next decade.
  7. The last I checked around 75,000 Texas Republicans die each year and 175,000 Latinos become newly eligible voters. Those and other demographic shifts add up over time. In 10 years Texas will be firmly Democratic with regard to statewide races. We don't know exactly when we will start seeing the transition, but it could be as early as 2018 or 2020. It would be a bad bet to say it will be 2028 or later.
  8. No I am not. What does puzzle me why you are opposed to having sex with beautiful young (but legal aged) women? Do you go into a club and look for old and unattractive women? Are you opposed to having sex? Are you into young men and find women unattractive? Of course, those are all ok things but I don't think they apply to most of the men who post here.
  9. That is a stupid thing to say. Of course I hope the economic growth continues. On the other hand I don't expect it to for very much longer.
  10. Look at the people his administration has chewed up already and multiply it by 3 at least. It is not a dream, although i wish the whole thing were.
  11. Just wait until Democrats control the house. Trump will be legislating by executive order.
  12. Eddington's experiment by the way has been shown to be flawed. He was using too small a telescope to make the measurement. What he really measured was the telescope's aberration. Light bending has seen been measured numerous times but I find it interesting that the original experiment to demonstrate gravitational light bending was invalid. I will resist commenting about other invalid points in this thread.
  13. The title and article show that the author does not understand the experiment. It has nothing to do with entangled time. The state of photons 1 and 2, 2 and 3, and 3 and 4 are each paired, so we know the relationship between 1 and 4.
  14. Who us Ray Pugh? I have been using the same name since hornfans was an ok site.
  15. In the end he will be responsible for partially draining the swamp as the careers of anyone closely associated with him are destroyed. It will decimate the Republican party.
  16. Last year my home base was Varna Bulgaria with extended trips to Romania, Ukraine, and Thailand. This year I decided to start in the Philippines and travel around SE Asia but ended up staying and traveling around PH. There are lots of good options where someone can live on $1500 or less a month. Travel and girls will inflate that number. And no, I do not pick up a girl every night although they try to pick up me every night. My friend who does $14 girls tries to do 2 a day, but that and a little stock trading is all he does.
  17. That is one big reason I left the US, although I have a Texas state retiree plan when I turn 65. Here I can buy most meds otc, and seeing a doctor and getting a course of antibiotics costs about $15. Most surgeries run less than $5000 so most expats self insure for accidents and emergency surgery as it is cheaper than a policy. If I did get something requiring treatment in the US I would just sign up when I get back and look for a job. Hospitals hold people hostage here for payment so you need to have cash or credit cards to get released. I do have a Cigna Global policy that in theory covers everything including US visits and repatriation for $250 A month. But I am thinking about dropping it as I have heard from other expats that they seldom reimburse you, and do not directly pay the hospital outside Europe and maybe the US.
  18. Am I the only one thinking Trump asked for a blow job in the Oval office in exchange for the pardon, and got it?
  19. I know a guy who never pays more than $14. I pay $20 to $30 usually. Girlfriends are more expensive than freelancers usually. If you want lots of girls you should budget more money. It is best to avoid buying ladies drinks and bar fines if you are on a budget.
  20. I am 56 and have been retired over 2 years since Abbott ordered my firing. It is the best thing that happened to me and I wish I did it 5 years earlier. I fuck 4 or 5, 18 to 24 year girls a week and know guys who do 10+. I write a book a year and shorter papers in between. I eat good food and have expat friends I hang out with. I have traveled some and hope to travel more, but the Philippines is home now. I highly recommend that if you are single or divorced and have at least $2000 a month for the rest of your life, retire now and start living it up. Some guys I know have fucking as their main hobby. Some golf, some play poker or trade stocks. There are MCs everywhere if you like the biker culture. Pick something you enjoy and stop working for someone else.
  21. An acquaintance of mine who is a reverend who worked at del Valle (regulars from The Draught House may know who I am talking about) thinks that 98% if criminals should not be incarcerated. He argues against: Drug possession should lead to treatment rather than incarceration. Crimes committed to buy drugs should also be treated. Minorities, the under represented, and those with communication difficulties who would have received lesser penalties if they were wealthy whites should be treated fairly. Those who committed one off crimes of opportunity or passion, that are not likely to be repeated should not be sentenced like career criminals. I am sure he had more categories. He was writing a book (or two) but I do not know if he published one yet. I would like to think that his ideas about people in local jails are correct.
  22. But Pelosi still has a chance.
  23. I think you mean President Pelosi.
  24. Too bad we didn't learn from the Rooskies to stay the fuck out of Afghanistan.
  25. Per Haaretz, "Another purported target of Mueller's investigation is Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg, an Israeli citizen with investments in Israel, for payments allegedly made to Michael Cohen. Vekselberg partnered with Israeli-Russian billionaires Len Blavatnik, who is invested in Israeli media, connected to Netanyahu and is also under Mueller’s spotlight, as well as Russian-Israeli billionaire Mikhail Fridman. One of their joint holdings was Alfa Bank, which, according to the Steele Dossier, owned a mysterious internet server found in Trump Tower. " Blavatnik gave McConnell 2.5 million, so he was possibly meeting his Russian handler, which would explain a lot of his behavior.
