  1. In her first suit that was dismissed on a technicality two of Epstein's procurers confirmed her story. So there are three accusers with the same story. I will add that those two wonen also claimed Trump had sex with an unnamed 12 year old.
  2. What if he paid her to drop her lawsuit immediately after the election? Would that make it interesting? She stated she dropped her lawsuit due to threats, which would also be of interest if linked to Trump, but it would be interesting if Cohen has some documents on the case.
  3. Since it will be evening here I wanted to suggest a drinking game where you take a shot each time he tells a lie, but I don't think anyone could keep up and if anyone did it would kill them.
  4. I support the idea behind the ftedcruz.com Pac even if Beto does not.
  5. You are. She could have waited until after the election to start asking for money. She could have been pushing for more money and not accept the Stormy settlement. It took a while for the pieces to fall in place so Cohen could pay her using Broidy's money, so that could have delayed payments a year. She and Trump could have had a relationship and abortion in the 2012-2013 time frame. We don't know. We will likely find out the timeline in the next few months and have the answer.
  6. With Beto O'Rourke headlining I think all the statewide races will be closer than we are used to. Patrick and Miller could be in very tight races. I still think Abbott wins but it could be single digits.
  7. My mistake on the dates of the affair as I thought I had read something to that effect. But for you to claim that the abortion must correspond to the first payment is illogical.
  8. She can't stay silent when questioned by federal investigators. And the Cohen documents probably have more details that will come out when the ag indicts Cohen.
  9. It's the accepting a bribe from the UAE and KSA via Broidy that is the problem.
  10. I don't think we know as the principles have not said. Some assume that since the payment was in late 2017 that the abortion occurred just prior. I don't think we can make that assumption particularly if it was Trump.
  11. The affair and her abortion were well before the election.
  12. The DOJ and FBI need to clarify with Shera Bechard whether her affair was with Broidy or Trump. The new information on Broidy and his KSA and UAE dealings makes it looks like Broidy was paying Trump on behalf of the gulf princes by paying off the playmate. This article lays it out. http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/05/more-evidence-that-broidy-was-covering-for-trump-in-affair.html
  13. There are lots here in Angeles and reasonably priced. But this happens a lot in the US. It happened to my father and two of my best friends fathers.
  14. Where I live they wand and bag check every entrance of shopping malls and large stores. They also have security screening on the outer doors of airports. It is not that difficult. In schools some staff would only need to work a door for 30 minutes at the start of the day so you can use current staff for some of it. One story I read said we could buy a $4000 portal monitor for every school for under a billion dollars. If we use Trump's wall money we could make schools much safer instead
  15. He can be a write-in candidate, so you can go ahead and make WV a leans Democrat senate race.
  16. If you want to argue he was not the most important source of information, fine. The takeaway is his information in the dossier is real and from Trump's inner circle.
  17. I hope there are sealed indictments against the Trumps to be opened January 21, 2021.
  18. The key source of information behind the Steele dossier appears to be the FBI informant.
  19. A nice update on Russian donations. http://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/commentary/2018/05/18/simple-explanation-messy-russian-investigation-one-mans-ego
  20. The media said they expected 100,000 people but my estimate is 500,000 to 750,000 based on footage of the carriage route.
  21. Since this is a mid-term the voter pool is big enough it is a matter of percentages relative to the 2016 election. 20% swings happen when 70% of one party vote and 50% of the other vote relative to the presidential year. That is what happened in Alabama. A 5% swing though could happen solely due to conservatives and independents turning away from Cruz.
  22. Again, using the 2016 election as a starting point 52.23% of Texas voters voted for Trump and 47.67% voted against Trump. That is only a 4.56% difference. The breakdown of those against Trump was 43.24% Clinton, 3.16% Johnson, 0.80% Stein, and 0.57% writeins. Note that there will always be a small number of people who will not vote for either party candidate, but it should be less than 1% in the Senate race. One can argue these anti-Trump voters will be anti-Cruz voters. I will also argue that Cruz is less popular than Trump was at the time of that election. There is also a lack of enthusiasm among a significant percentage of Republicans while Democrats are enthusiastic. Independents are leaning strongly democratic. I think it will be more than enough to swing the election to O'Rourke.
  23. Beto is doubling down on his gun stance today. It will be interesting to see how that plays out in the campaign.
  24. It still should be considered as an illegal unreported campaign contribution.
