  1. Wherever Bowman plays, he will succeed. He's a goddamn ghost on the football field. There are intangibles in him that haven't been on campus in many years. The only thing he lacks is mass. He will grow between now and his freshman year in college. He will grow more with Yancy putting him through S&C.

I’ll still be lurking even if my account gets banned. So you got offended that I said “faggie” 😂?

Clearly you don't know who or what you are fucking with. Permaban will get you forever locked out.

Honestly, he could end up at OT, which would explain our lack of pursuit.

He’s a legit 6’7”, and extremely athletic. His dad was a DT at Baylor in the 80s, but is not pushing him to any school. He has other athletes in his family. His older brother plays at West Point. He comes from a VERY HIGH CHARACTER family, and would be a perfect culture fit. I’d love to take him, but it’s probably tough to project his final position. There’s also a chance he could outgrow football, like Feathertree. His grandfather was 7’ tall. He loves football, though, and that’s what he wants to play.

Hes still a little raw. You can watch him in the state title game. He had a huge sack and he caught the winning TD.

    Link?

West Virginia plays in Norman this year...... Wonder what BlowU fans will do to welcome Austin back??

That's a statement that one never really expects to contemplate.

  5. The decidedly apt comparison for coach o and his counterpart of farmer fran in the waterboy makes sense. The divergence is that the farmer Fran character is the head coach and coach Klein is the assistant. Neither will be able to understand each other for shit and there will be a tremendous amount that is just purely unintelligible between them.

The new offense will be interesting to say the least.

He'll be like Aaron Ross in 2005. Ross replaced Cedric Griffin or Tarrell Brown when they came off the field. There'll be almost no drop-off in terms of quality play when he hits the field. Amazing the amount of parallels between this team and the 05 squad.

If I'm not mistaken, he won the Thorpe in 2005.

  7. I can't speak for the harmless 16 year old child in question. I can only speak for myself. When I was 16, I was unaware of everything in the world. If the sport I was good at, powerlifting, been a sport that were recruited I would've taken every opportunity to advance myself. I went to state twice in the sport. I can say that unequivocally I would've rejected, with malice, any offer from goddamn oklahoma. Obviously this is all not applicable, but I can explicitly recall my frame of mind as a teenager.

Kids will be kids and sometimes they make good choices they prosper from, or that we like, and sometimes they won't on either account. I'm just saying let the kid be a goddamn kid and let him make whatever choice he will.

I don't expect anyone else to hold the same malice I do, because no one has my experiences.

  8. There are a couple guys that roll past my place of employment on the regular. I always have to tell them to get out of the street because I don't want them to get run over.

On a serious note, one of them was stuck in the middle of the road and his chair lost power. I pushed him to an outlet so he could recharge it. I'm glad I helped him and I hope he is thankful for the help. He is a nice kid and I shudder at the thought that he is hurt. I've seen him a couple times since. This specific individual does ride on the sidewalks now. Others do not. I know one day I'm going to roll up on an accident and the individual wont be as fortunate.
