Offered, signed, attending with 2019 class = initial counter for 2019. If he is unable to play, we could medically retire him and get him off the 85 limit. If he does play and pans out, we could later apply for an extra year of eligibility should he RS one of his remaining 4 after 2019. Watching his recovery from afar (and through a figurative keyhole), I have gone from skeptical he would even attend UT to thinking he will some day see the field.
I hope he sees the field because it will be that much more of a triumph for him and his family for everything he's been through. Even if he doesn't, I'm just glad he is doing so well that he can enter college with his class. That in and of itself is phenomenal and speaks volumes about him as a human being. Even if he is never able to be a part of the team, he will be something they can rally around and use as a source of motivation. He will always have the degree he attains to ensure a life full of success.

The Derrian Brown question posed earlier is a fair one, if he is seriously getting back to football shape. I thought that was a bit of a pipe dream though. Is his return to football, not just college, a real possibility? If so, that would really soften the blow of missing out on all our RB targets this year, as long as Whittington works well at that spot this year. We’d essentially have 1 RB in each of the last 2 classes then.
Our OL has sucked shit through a straw for a very long time now and I guess some of the misses from this year and last should be expected. We all hoped Drayton could overcome that issue, but apparently not yet. I really believe this OL has turned the corner and their play on the field this year will be a team strength for the first time in >10 years, which should help us snap this RB recruiting drought, regardless of Drayton’s abilities.

Heard a lot of buzz about him around the water cooler.
That Tobias is some kind of something. Boy, this Tobias is all anybody’s ever talking about. I’m so sick and tired of hearing about how brilliant that Tobias is. Overrated. We’ll just move on. Whoa, oh, I’m sorry! I’m sorry. Okay, we’re okay. Okay.
You must be the Fünke I keep hearing so much about.

You don't grate a road. It's not made of cheese.
The poor saps in front of this kid will be shredded like cheese.

That is so badass. In fact, badass isn't a good enough word for what that is. We need a better word for a situation where our dreadlocked and tattooed Aerospace Engineering professor helps us land a blue chip offensive linemen.

It’s great that Conner seems locked in no matter what. He shouldn’t react too negatively to getting shifted inside if Byrd and Brockermeyer jump onboard
To me he seems like the kind of guy that will put team needs over his own desires. With a year or two in Yancy's S&C program, any question about his weight will be removed. He might weigh more afterward, but it will be lean muscle and raw hatred.

This is the kind of road grater needed to propel the offense from the monster it is into the behemoth it is to become.

Judge: How can we be sure of that?

AF has it at Henderson outside LV; USN has it at Fallon outside Reno.
I imagine they are in San Diego again. Watching Mav and Iceman pick-up middle aged divorcees in a shady Reno casino bar probably has less appeal than doing it in San Diego.
Yeah, they closed the seedy underbelly of Reno. Now it's a swallows.

So we’re going to win by getting them lost on a highway that goes nowhere near Austin?
Taking a play from Archer's playbook are we?

Well, it's clear they don't spend their money on the academic side.
Wait. You mean to tell me that schools actually do that?

So just asking the question to ask it... this Karen lady followed jumbo fister because she genuinely likes the guy or because her own alma mater hired a black man to be the head football coach?

That was an awesome preview. 13 December can't get here fast enough.

They should.
It's interesting, imo, we have way too many out-of-shape kids who can't serve, but then warfare has turned a lot to drones and robots. So do we really need young, able-bodied cannon fodder?
"Cannon fodder. "
You bring up an interesting point. No one wants to be shot at, and hit much less hit. War still requires a human component. Presently, we live in an age where an unmanned aircraft could hypothetically launch a can of whoopass onto anyone. Many cans of whoopass infact. Ideally, said, whoopass is laid upon someone that agreed to be the target. So just because it hasn't happened yet, doesn't mean it will never happen that an unmanned aerial vehicle couldn't be intercepted and used to harm an American life. There are many safeguards in place to prevent such an occurrence, but it could hypothetically happen.
I advocate for the human component to keep the enemy fire centered, but also keeps it away from the airspace we all expect to be free from danger.

D'Shawn Jamison is gonna bring a lot of athleticism to the defensive backfield. If he's not starting at some point, I expect him to be the first player off the bench for one of the corner spots.
