We got lucky in Sam Houston game as OL was too slow trying to block defender and damn near blocked him in back as the OL was falling down like a puddle of Play Dough
I saw CDC walking Town Lake this morning. Could have sworn I heard him telling Sark that FG weren’t a sign of weakness and that it was ok to not run same play 3x in a row from 1 yd line.
I could be mistaken though as he was walking at a good clip.
Just got back from Alamo. Really good flick, felt like three distinct movies in terms of flow. Entire cast was nails. Absolutely two thumbs up from me.
That’s what I was thinking he was bringing up. That place was good. All cash, god knows how much $ she made.
Also no love for anyone for Jaimes Spanish Village? Flaming Dr. Peppers!
Only when it is backups intra-game. Texas D usually plays like it has zero understanding that a starting QB could get hurt and a backup come in. Typically zero adjustments made for playing style differences etc.
I am not worried at all in this case as Texas will have damn near a month to plan for Hawkins, who I seriously doubt the new OC who came from WSU with Mateer spent more than 0.5 seconds working with.
I was there too and it was a very listless crowd and the LSU offense is like watching if ISU and K-State had a baby. Boring. LSU D looked good but if a recruit was coming to a game and wanting a big game atmosphere this past weekend wasn't it. One cool thing they do is a feature pre-game of "NFLSU". Where they show all of the former LSU players in NFL. Was a cool intro and obviously there are some big names still in league.
