Certifiably Surly

  1. I have concerns that Sark is starting to show more “heavy brake, foot off gas tendencies” on offense in big games. Arch looked like a true freshman vs a guy starting year three in program and Sark called game that way
  2. Sark deserves a ton of shit for the gameplan today. Super conservative. Next to no motion or play action. Super predictable play calling inside RZ etc etc He is starting to get the "Big Game Sark" sarcastic tag a la Stoops back in day
  3. Updating this thread vs starting new one I am looking for an umbrella policy on top of general home/auto, any Surlsters able to assist?
  4. Any surly lawyers in TX (I live in Austin but can do virtual) want to help update will? DM me if so, rather keep it in dysfunctional Surly family. Thanks
  5. Just felt like Sark slid his play calling sliders to the furthest left and basically called a 1960s offense. Didn’t help that half of Arch’s passes were over/under thrown.
  6. That miss to Wingo was a killer
  7. Damn Arch make a pass
  8. Great block by Baxter feel like I am watching Austin High playcalling right now.
  9. This is just a really boring, disappointing offensive performance. Just really hard to believe this is what is being trotted out. No quick slants, no TE in middle of field, very few QB runs just seemingly doing a Jeff Fisher and making VY a drop back QB here. OSU D is good, but Texas seems to be hamstringing themselves here.
  10. Well, at least all the Heisman hype will die down and Arch can just be a QB. That's a bummer, nice drive last time and then blah.
  11. Maybe Sark has flipped script and now we start slow and in 2H explode??? 4D chess
  12. Klatt bringing up PTSD moment
  13. Good to have a good punter again. Come on D
  14. This is going to backfire
  15. Alright Sark. Time to show what you can do here. Need points.
  16. Arch processing a beat slow. Nice to have a punter again
  17. Have to answer here. If another short drive you give OSU chance to drain clock or score snd they get ball to start 2H. Let’s go Texas!!
  18. 100% Day goes for it. The way Texas O playing the odds are totally in OSU D favor
  19. OL totally held DE right in front of ref and nada. Should have been offsetting
  20. Arch seems to be playing tight. So much pressure on kid. Give him a shot of bourbon and loosen him up
  21. LFG already. Enough yapping
  22. Don't forget Austin High (The original Austin area power) - got beat 47-3 by Canyons (obviously I am joking about AHS being on same tier as those other teams. On different note - Holy Shit at Drip curb stomping Vandegrift. From winning state to getting face raped week 1. I am hoping that is a harbinger of what Texas does to Ohio State today
  23. Beat a bad team like the should. 3 up on Seattle now. LFG
