  1. Keep this POS away from program. He will fuck up all momentum. All he cares about is himself.
  2. The abrasive/bullying intern on “The Pitt” she sucks. (Or maybe she is really good as i cannot stand her)

    Brazil

Brazil politically (to frame in US parlance) is a bit of a combo of Louisiana and Local DC. Some corruption is expected and will be forgiven. (Lula himself was convicted for corruption and later had sentence annulled) There have been ~2300 cases of political violence (think crimes vs politicians and family members/staffers) since 2020 but the killing of a sitting President is rare. Bolsnaro himself got stabbed I think in 2018 Tl:dr Brazil politics are crazy sometimes but this time is exceptionally crazy.
  4. I am in Detroit for customer meetings and can attest that it is cold as fuck.
  5. True, but that was covered by a bond and they already: delayed start and reduced dollar amount. AHS is trading the city the baseball field for the rowing center which believe it or not AHS owns. Challenge is AHS is in flood plain that leads right into Town Lake. Adds a lot of complexity to any field improvement. In addition lot of old trees behind baseball field so we are having to adjust field to make UIL compliant while mitigating and tree issues.
  6. Have teachers (even in Texas) been part of R voting base? Maybe in rural areas/ smaller towns but those schools have benefited the most from recapture. It’s great going from AHS and playing some of the schools out of district that have turf practice fields, immaculate stadiums, baseball fields with lights (and restrooms - AHS boys pee in culvert) all funded from recapture. (Or at least mostly). I cannot wait for the inevitable bond/property tax grab (of which vast majority goes to recapture as well) to help solve this budget issue. It is a never ending circle jerk as Abbott hates Austin. Austin should’ve let him cut that fucking tree down before he was governor.
  7. Sucker. I already have a kid in AISD and all of that funding already gets recaptured so there!!! Not sure how much shittier AISD can get but I am sure Abbott will figure it out. Luckily I only have a couple more years in it.
  8. You considering Shaka Smart a “white hispanic” or using one of the old Spanish art pieces describing racial composition?
  9. Just used them as an example of a federal set of activities that would be “repurposed” as private run concern that wouldn’t necessarily be taking existing private sector jobs.
  10. I agree. Layoffs suck. Workday eg announced layoffs of 8.5% of their employees, around 1800 people. Same principles apply: the coffe shop employees, the dry cleaners etc etc that have supported these folks are in jeopardy. The assertion though that federal employees will be able to jump in whole cloth and take existing private sector jobs is one I am pushing back on. Some might, i just don’t see it at scale.
  11. I would argue that is not “flooding the private sector” and taking jobs but rather repurposing roles in a mew company/contract as to your point a proxy for public sector. I just don’t see bulk of these current federal employees jumping to a private company that isn’t focused on working with federal government. I see more along the lines of point you are making. Get rid of TSA eg then all of those folks just get hired by airline or airport directly as their version of TSA.
  12. Maybe but usually folks that take public sector jobs aren’t always an exact match for private sector work. Especially at publicly traded company with pressures of every 13 weeks being “most important 13 weeks of life” type BS.
  13. I don’t see a lot of the overlap. Most of the private sector jobs are non union and the demands/stressors are very different. I can see where state/local jobs get flooded before a lot of private sector ones do.
  14. He’s taken a job as a speedbump off red river.
  15. It’s a feature not a bug at this point.
  16. I was making an assumption based on him having a shitty season and a relatively expensive (albeit for K) contract. I can see Ravens using this as an opportunity to let him go for cause and just moving on. There is next to no chance that the team wasn't made aware of some of these allegations.
  17. The Ravens are looking to move on so wanted to release this now so they can release for freakiness/cause and not bear any financial hit. Tucker was gross and wildly inappropriate but the timing of the piece is definitely interesting.
  18. Hire a goal line/short yardage coach. Just someone who dreams up ways to get 1-2 yds.
  19. This press conference is like an academy awards speech: “I want to thank the governor, the mayor, the sec of transportation, the ceo of AA, the DC police, the FBI , the parks department etc etx” Barely talking about WTF happened they are all so worried about leaving someone out of their fucking “acceptance” speech
  20. I know it has already been in place but these kind of ticky points just don't help in terms of comparing numbers, especially in 1st week of new focus etc. I can see this going deep especially if as noted above you have MAGA teachers ratting out kids/parents, co-workers ratting out one another and so on. Trying to bust Trump boasting about numbers to me just isn't helpful. He lies about everything, water is wet.
  21. This kind of stuff is why democrats lost election. Trying to quibble over the numbers being lower vs what the fuck is happening is just bullshit. The program just started and it will get a lot worse before it gets better.
  22. I could have you throwing a 3 yd out on 3rd and 5 in no time young man.
  23. Watch the 4K broadcast on YouTube TV. No commercials or politics
  24. The amount of grace given the chiefs on holds and the BS mahomes gets away with is a joke
