i've searched for AOC so stories about her show up in my google feed (along with the astros, rockets, airplanes, racing, mazda, space, cameras, android phones, and cast iron skillets). damn near all of the stories are from fox.  i don't think a single one has been from a 'mainstream' or left site.

edit: oh good now i'm getting candace owens too

The job, bank teller, is a candidate for automation and might not exist 5-10 years from now.

they thought that back when ATMs first came out.  turns out, people like talking to people.

  3. If you told him California was closer to El Paso than Houston is to El Paso, he'd stare at you with a blank look, given he obviously failed geography at some point in his life.
El Paso is closer to Phoenix than it is to San Antonio and closer to Denver than it is to Dallas. More than 1/3 of I-10 is in Texas. This is a big fucking state.
  4. all my shit is decades old. i have a TRX-3 from when traxxas thought it was associated (from just before the OG rustler and stampede came out) and an HPI RS4 from a couple years later.  all nicad era stuff.

This is stupid. It's never wrong to be in the appropriate lane for your course of action. You expecting other people to make multiple lane changes to accommodate the possibility that someone coming behind them might maybe want to turn right on red of the opportunity arises is the height of entitlement.

the only time it applies is when there's no one in lane to the left of the one that turns right, and you're not going right immediately past the intersection.  if that is the situation, i move over into the vacant lane since i'm going straight and will continue to do so.  if you don't do that, you're an inconsiderate douchenozzle unaware that you share this earth with other people.

I usually make it a point to tweet at an airline when I have a good flight attendant or gate agent, just because I think those people should be recognized just as much as my frequent (and often ignored) complaints should be acknowledged.

i'd be afraid of getting them fired.  people who display competence and initiative?  probably broke some byzantine rule in doing so.

edit: american airlines is a credit card company that happens to run an airline so no shocker they're hounding pax about their credit card.

Didn't he use his weasel curse on Texas too at one point in the last couple seasons with some similar jinx-tweet in the middle of a football game? Could've been Abbott but I'm fairly sure it was "Come on...Ted!"

abbott jinxed the astros against the royals in 2015
