His son, GWB, DID propose reducing spending, though.

But, it would have involved reforming social security.

    The Democrats shot that down.

I finally had a mini blow up with my dad over him voting for Trump (lol wish I didn't need to remain mostly on his good side). I told him that I vote the way that I do because of the way he and my mother raised me; how the values and morals that they told me were important to a person's soul informed the way I evaluate leaders. I asked him how he could morally deal with himself after voting for someone like Trump. He got kind of a little sheepish look on his face, and I (unfortunately picking the wrong aspect of Trump's character to focus on in the moment) said "the man is a rapist." And his face turned grim and he looked me deadass in the eye and said "Joe Biden is a rapist."

I truly thought my father was more intelligent than that. I didn't realize just how pervasive the brain rot is. It's fuckin' over.

No, he admits attending multiple meetings, but business was never, ever, ever discussed.

You recall the episode where Hunter stopped a business meeting to take a speaker phone call with Joey Jo-Jo?  Totally normal to interrupt a business meeting to check in with dad over a speaker phone call.  I suggest you implement that in the nee year.  Whats the worst that could happen?

so you admit that this isn't actually new and you know that these guys met. got it.

    Accurate on all points.

I hate loose meats, but we make tavern burgers which are ground beef in a sauce made of ketchup, mustard, vinegar and stuck in a crock pot all day.  Pretty damn good

I'm 35 not an old. I have a bad surgically repaired knee and don't plan on doing weird shit, being able to do 100 push ups in a row after working towards it for 6-8 months shouldn't be that crazy.

Going from 10-25 will be fun. Going from 25-30-35-40-45-50 will likely take 3 months or more by itself.

Then 50-60-70-80-90-100 will take another 3-4.

Being able to drop down and do 100 pushups is a pretty fun party trick. I could do it from age 15-22 because I did it most days. Now I'm just married, fat and mentally exhausted. I need more good physical fitness routine in my day.
