  1. Every bounce plus unlimited runs at the basket? Yeah, this game is already over…. May make it interesting if we can hit a shot or two, but I don’t see us stopping this train.
  2. Sure, but it’s also south of the river, so that’s not a “I’ve got 30 mins to snag lunch” situation. If it was as close as SS I would be there at least once a week.
  3. Went to the Switch the other day cause it’s close and fast… Brisket - Went with the moist and came away with two 75% fat pieces, not great Ribs - Well seasoned but WAY over cooked Sausage - They had a pepper Jack that slammed. Good snap and moist as all hell Sides solid but nothing to write home about… I gotta find something better in central Austin but at this point I may save my BBQ for weekend haunts to L&L. Anyone else central with recommendations?
  4. ^^^ that was all my gramsie drank and she SWORE by the stuff. Snuck off with plenty in my youth but didn’t appreciate it then… or the 3.5l of Turkey my buddy’s mom had in her bar on a tilt device.
  5. Thanks for the advice, all - I’ve got a griddle insert which works great but now of course I’m debating just getting a big boy instead of a grill and using the egg for everything else…
  6. Seen it go for Pappy+ Cash on secondary, so not that crazy. You wouldn’t catch me paying that tax though… Old Fitz is the least impressive of the pricey bottles. It’s all glass and no whiskey AFAIC
  7. Hmm… what does one need to do to be eligible for one, if not numerous, business accounts?
  8. Left the old girl on the street as the move was winding down and she was promptly collected, but that left ME with no grill. Still have the egg so all good on the smoking front, but I need something for day-day. Would like to avoid the Home Depot / Lowe’s route as those tend to fall apart, but also not looking to break the bank. So, if y’all were shopping for something similar, where would you start the search?
  9. Who else is incredibly impatient? Made the playoffs in all of my leagues yet again, but what I’ve found in the last couple of years to be keeping me from championships is simple: Impatience Though I’m super active on waivers, most of my leagues have relatively shallow benches, and that often drives me to release players with potential too early. Here are a few from across my leagues this year that would have made a difference if I simply held on and resisted the temptation of grabbing the “next best thing”: - Etienne - Godwin - G Wilson - Dobbins - Hubbard - Akers - Pickens - J Cook - Hockenson - Di Johnson Each of them had multi-week stretches where they either underperformed or directly cost me matchups and we’re promptly jettisoned. But I was probably too hasty… who else has similar (bad) impulses?
  10. It’s gonna be a battle of attrition at the end… one thing that stood out today, besides the competitive matchups, was the significant number of injuries to key players. Sure, next man up and all that, but as you saw towards the end of the game with tOSU it’s a lot harder when key playmakers are out to… you know, make big plays when it counts. Having to play 2 or potentially 3 more games to win it all is gonna be VERY interesting. Makes me think that a lot more Boise State finishes are possible, and that someone will sneak through based on health/luck/perseverance and somehow win it all. I’m all for that but damn is it going to sting for the teams who go undefeated only to catch the injury bug in the playoffs and lose out. Anyway, bring on the madness… we’re all ready!
  11. And really just the last three plays, but yeah… He did miss some underneath routes that would have got them closer, but playing for the kick was probably not the move there given all the bed shitting up to that point.
  12. Yeah, believe I posted the same way up thread - Agree [emoji817] that is a stupendous [emoji527]
  13. Hell of a gift and some solid “final pours” from both of you - I’m gonna go with a classic, one I’m not likely to find again for a very long time, but whiskey was made for drinking… Cheers boys!
  14. Extremely jealous that was available when you went… I’ll prioritize better when next in H-town
  15. That’s the other reason I chose not to stand on line today. There were very few bottles worth my time and, if I didn’t get one, the entire experience would have been chalked as a waste. Don’t begrudge any of you who chose to do so, but the math just didn’t work out for me.
  16. So, for comparison, I waited ZERO minutes in line at the shaker yesterday and came away with two rockstar picks and the first Weller traveler I’ve seen in ages…
  17. [emoji23] people have WAY too much time on their hands…
