  1. Doubtful. Now that 3 players are gone, they will shuffle the tribes. At least one original Lulu will end up on a tribe capable of winning challenges.
  2. He's not referencing Astros fans, dumbass.
  3. Sign me up for that, but does it really qualify as a burger if you can't eat it like one?
  4. How is the temporary bleachers construction coming along?
  5. I see. Shouldn't you be in the Astros thread antagonizing their fans, or have you given up on the Twins after one game? Perhaps Timberwolves preseason glory is all you have to keep up your spirits right now.
  6. Preseason smack in last season's thread using a gif featuring some weak ass Division III team from Wisconsin playing an entirely different sport? Burn, I guess.
  7. Emily would have gone home in Week 1 most seasons, but nope, she is only 3rd worst on a team of 6 this season, and may end up sticking around for some time. I'm still waiting to see evidence of any aptitude whatsoever from Brandon. Guess it will have to wait for an all stars season.
  8. This site is full of assholes and douchebags. We pride ourselves on it. Better hope karmatic fever isn't a real thing
  9. Sounds like we are in midseason form.
  10. Not a surprise. If you had asked to bet on the first rider to leave the team, he would have been my pick. It will mean less dominance for Jumbo, but more fun for fans of cycling. I'm really curious to see the makeup of the Jumbo teams for next year's GTs.
  11. I agree that the teams all seem likeable so far. We'll see what tolls, if any, the stresses of the race take, but so far so good. I'm not unhappy about the lack of non-elimination legs. Those always seemed coincidentally convenient to keep well liked or hated teams in the race. I was not impressed that some teams struggled for over an hour to solve a fairly simple word scramble. Some of them would still be there if not helped by other teams. I was very impressed by the sisters earning the express pass. I'm pretty sure I would not have done it, but I would still be pissing my pants at the highwire, so it wouldn't have come into play for me. I do miss the old school "make your own travel arrangements" aspect, but as others have noted, it really did create insurmountable gaps. Season 1 is the perfect example, where the 3rd place team finished more than a day behind the winners. Of course they deserved it for being douches who wasted an express pass by taking a spa day before traveling to a pitstop, so it was still enjoyable even if not suspenseful.
  12. What if a team is out of timeouts? Sitting out a half seems harsh for an early half injury that turned out to be something minor. Sitting out the rest of the series would likely be enough of a deterrent.
  13. We have plenty of matches to figure out how good we can be. Luckily we don't have to deal with Nebraska, Louisville, or Wisconsin today.
  14. Injury time...so playing for more injuries, duh.
  15. Good. It beats going into the postseason untested every year because the conference sucks.
  16. Vent Bendables thinks Hayden Christensen deserved an Oscar for his portrayal of Anakin Skywalker.
  17. I think she recruits well enough to be successful, but it's a shame she can't coach her way out of a wet paper bag.
