  1. Jesse has definitely been playing, and it is really good of him to recognize the flaws in his game and to do something about it. We'll so how he does now that he no longer has the biggest target to hide behind. It wasn't clear to me whether Jesse played Cody's idol or Jeanine's. Did they show Cody giving him back the idol to hold? If so, I missed it.
  2. He said he was in Mesquite. What did you expect?
  3. Why on earth would you try to out aggy aggy? You are making me agree with futureman. That's haw dumb this idea is.
  4. Previews can be misleading, but I doubt they are in this instance. I hate to see any team struggle with that type of injury, but it's especially sad when the team is likeable and had a real chance to win.
  5. Gabler is going to end up being the idiot who gets to stick around because he can't possibly win, isn't he? Ugh. Elie and Jeanine didn't appear to do a very good job of solidifying a Baka/Vesi alliance. If Elie was going to through Cody's name out there as a misdirection, she probably should have cleared it with Cody. The original tribes are even in numbers now, but there is no way that Baka is voting as a block unless an obvious target emerges that the vast majority want gone. After making some early mistakes, Vesi actually seems to be the most solid from a tribe alliance standpoint. Things will change, but at the beginning of merge, this is how I have the survivors grouped. Winner is likely one of these: Cody Jeanine Owen Sami Karla Could easily become a contender: Jesse James Has work to do: Noelle Dwight Cassidy I don't see it: Gabler Ryan
  6. If these FT stats reflect actual improvement and not merely a temporary hot streak, then I will be very gruntled. Of course, if the 3PT stats are also the new norm, then I prefer last season's Luka.
  7. This has been me the past several seasons, but eventually I have managed to find a rooting interest. Give it a little more time.
  8. If Vesi had taken care of the tribe weakness last week like they did this week, they probably would not have been at tribal this week, and Justine would still be in the game. Being a good person is only going to get you so far in the early stages if there is no part of any challenge at which you are at least moderately competent.
  9. I can't decide which is more of a beating...these threads after a loss, or after a win.
  10. I just singed up for 2 years for $4.99 per month. I only have the one radio in my car. It works out to $6.09 after taxes and fees. It auto-renews at $17.99 per month after the two years is up, but I have a reminder set to cancel a few weeks before that.

Why is there a Saguaro cactus on a poster epitomizing Texas?
  12. One of the least impressive multiday champions that I can recall, and one of the luckiest.
  13. I record and FF through commercials and promos, so I thankfully miss those.
  14. Yep. That's a strong possibility. Dude didn't take any water, which is a good sign that he has a soft landing coordinated. He's either going to end up at the cantina camp, or this is a premeditated "tap with fake honor" situation. Not slighting EJ at all, I just think he is past his prime. One thing working against the group merge theory is that I believe the cantina camp is in the opposite direction from extraction, assuming they have the same extraction point as Trish and Jen. I think EJ implied he was going to look for greener pastures closer to extraction, so if he ends up at the other camp, then the producers have been more sloppy than usual at hiding the shenanigans. Amber wasn't planning THAT far ahead. It was intended to serve a dual purpose, as a dock for fishing the main canal, then later a raft for extraction. I wish Amber had taken it with her, but it would not have fit the narrative that we are being fed. I agree with the planted cayman theory. Typical "need protein for extraction, oh there's some" bs.
  15. Amber's "high road" support always comes off as a bit disingenuous to me, and she clearly likes to be in charge and have things done her way. She's still a bad ass, but I'm not sure I could put up with her for two months, even in a non-survival situation. That said, I don't recall wishing for anyone to fail as much as I did Trish. I would have liked to see how Jen and Amber worked together if Trish hadn't been part of the group. I think Jen would have flourished more than she did. I think EJ is just too old for these challenges now. He just seems off his game, and has not made any contributions at all. Kudos for realizing he was a drag on the team, and wandering out into the forest to fall on his sword.
  16. 220, 221, whatever it takes.
