  1. For most of my first time through Rushmore, I though Jason Schwartzman was Tom Cruise.
  2. Keanu Reeves and Chris Klein
  3. These would make some good young and old versions of the same character. Leelee Sobieski and Helen Hunt Josh Hartnett and Tommy Lee Jones
  4. I don't know when these photos were taken, but dude is looking pretty old to me. Looks like his endorsement game is still strong, though, so good for him.
  5. I don't disagree, but I still think 2015-16 was there for the taking. While Arsenal finished 10 points back of winners Leicester, they did end up in second, and a relatively low 81 points was enough to win it. The league overall was down. In the end, the Gunners had too many injuries, no meaningful depth, and blew too many matches against the bottom of the table. At least they finished ahead of Tottenham.
  6. He doesn't even post in the Tottenham thread. He's like the aggy fan who would rather have Texas lose than aggy win.
  7. Well shit. That changes everything.
  8. I share your optimism, but prepare yourself for posts that will rightfully highlight the role that NIL is playing in recruiting success. Comparing Sark's classes with those of previous coaches isn't a completely fair comparison, even if you assume that simply being Texas has always had inherent advantages.
  9. I have no idea who Tom Cruise's son is, but I hope his name is Carnival.
  10. I finally got around to watching it last night. Gabler sure was getting the "taken to the end because he can't win" edit. Nice blindside of the audience. It really helped that neither Owen nor Cassidy were overwhelmingly deserving, even if both reasonable well at tribal. I don't know what Jesse could have done differently. Sucking both at challenges and making fire really diminished his chances to make final three.
  11. Oh, Jan. You're just jealous that YOU'RE not the president of the Davy Jones Fan Club.
  12. Supposedly as a show of trust, which of course doesn't exist in Survivor.
  13. I share most of the sentiments already posted. I too was pulling for the twins, but Derek and Jenna Elfman Claire were a close second, so had no problem with them winning. I'm not a Big Brother watcher, so had no previous impression of them. I enjoyed the season overall, but hope they are able to bring back at least some of the old format eventually.
  14. Jesse has definitely been playing, and it is really good of him to recognize the flaws in his game and to do something about it. We'll so how he does now that he no longer has the biggest target to hide behind. It wasn't clear to me whether Jesse played Cody's idol or Jeanine's. Did they show Cody giving him back the idol to hold? If so, I missed it.
  15. He moved about 5 feet back.
  16. So Jade is a chef at Costco?
  17. He said he was in Mesquite. What did you expect?
  18. I think in your case, it's Big Ben Nation.
  19. Why on earth would you try to out aggy aggy? You are making me agree with futureman. That's haw dumb this idea is.
  20. Previews can be misleading, but I doubt they are in this instance. I hate to see any team struggle with that type of injury, but it's especially sad when the team is likeable and had a real chance to win.
  21. Gabler is going to end up being the idiot who gets to stick around because he can't possibly win, isn't he? Ugh. Elie and Jeanine didn't appear to do a very good job of solidifying a Baka/Vesi alliance. If Elie was going to through Cody's name out there as a misdirection, she probably should have cleared it with Cody. The original tribes are even in numbers now, but there is no way that Baka is voting as a block unless an obvious target emerges that the vast majority want gone. After making some early mistakes, Vesi actually seems to be the most solid from a tribe alliance standpoint. Things will change, but at the beginning of merge, this is how I have the survivors grouped. Winner is likely one of these: Cody Jeanine Owen Sami Karla Could easily become a contender: Jesse James Has work to do: Noelle Dwight Cassidy I don't see it: Gabler Ryan
  22. If these FT stats reflect actual improvement and not merely a temporary hot streak, then I will be very gruntled. Of course, if the 3PT stats are also the new norm, then I prefer last season's Luka.
