  1. The Texas offense shooting itself in the dick
  2. Drake C Toll Troll. LOL I watched a few minutes, we can't put teams away and have played some close games. Guess he hasn't looked at that ASU schedule.
  3. Well that would be everybody else. That said, in professional sports the teams with byes are usually clearly the best teams (longer regular seasons more balanced schedules blah blah blah) and yet it still happens there. This set up....eh maybe. tOSU getting that Michigan loss taste out of their mouth I think helps them more in a rematch with a team they lost to by 1 point then if they had sat around waiting...we shall see.
  4. I guess we will see but we have seen plenty of times in professional sports the team that kept playing and kept the mojo going come in and take down the team that sat around getting cold. Happens more in baseball but has also happened 5 times this century where a wild card team has won the Super Bowl...and that isn't even taking into account divisional round upsets. Will be interesting to see how that plays out at a college level. Wild card World Series champions 1997 Florida Marlins 2002 Anaheim Angels 2003 Florida Marlins 2004 Boston Red Sox 2011 St. Louis Cardinals 2014 San Francisco Giants 2019 Washington Nationals 2023 Texas Rangers Other wild card World Series participants 2000 New York Mets 2002 San Francisco Giants 2005 Houston Astros 2006 Detroit Tigers 2007 Colorado Rockies 2014 Kansas City Royals 2022 Philadelphia Phillies 2023 Arizona Diamondbacks Wild card Super Bowl champions 1980–81: Oakland Raiders–Super Bowl XV 1997–98: Denver Broncos–Super Bowl XXXII 2000–01: Baltimore Ravens–Super Bowl XXXV 2005–06: Pittsburgh Steelers–Super Bowl XL 2007–08: New York Giants–Super Bowl XLII 2010–11: Green Bay Packers–Super Bowl XLV 2020–21: Tampa Bay Buccaneers–Super Bowl LV Other wild card Super Bowl participants 1975–76: Dallas Cowboys-Super Bowl X 1985–86: New England Patriots–Super Bowl XX 1992–93: Buffalo Bills–Super Bowl XXVII 1999–2000: Tennessee Titans–Super Bowl XXXIV
  5. The smoke is awesome. Fuck the haters you old grumpy fucks. There are always gonna be some minor quibbles and yea some of the music choices sucked but then when a Texas game is on the line in the 4Q I don’t really need music to get me fired up. YRMV Generally the only major thing is that Bob Cole is still involved at all. His demotion to the band only was great but means he still has too much run in the pregame. Fuck Bob Cole.
  6. ASU is a team of scrappy guys with a few above-average talents mixed in riding some good old-fashioned Ted Lasso BELIEVE. 6 game win streak, after some early losses and close calls against teams you wouldn't normally expect conference champion playoff teams to be having close calls against. There's power to that, so I suggested that we get out early, get up by 2, or 3 possessions, and strangle that belief out of them. Sark needs to take points that extend leads (especially if it tips things from 1 possession to 2, 2 possessions to 3) every time he has the opportunity. They are not some team of dregs. They are mid to slightly above mid level talent with what appears to be an excellent coach who has them pretty motivated. The best way to handle is to put them down early.
  7. How'd that chip on your shoulder go for you there Baker. If you had just taken the sack you're still cooking but...had to be a hero. Bitch
  8. So then you clearly have not been watching this season
  9. Yea....you have a point? Mine would be that the most points our defense has given up in a 2H all season is 14 so being up by more than that would be the way. I get what you are saying, but our defense ain't fucking Iowa State.
  10. We are the lower seed so yea probably.
  11. Get up by 3 possessions in the first half, and let the defense strangle them out
  12. We beat the ACC champion who was playing with house money and nothing to lose and is coached by one of the two coaches in this CFP with national titles under his belt. Twas a good day.
  13. So Highland Park, Southlake Carroll and Westlake all lose on the same day.
  14. Our game wasnt really that entertaining either. 14 point win with one early lead change
  15. Didn't recover it this time but that was another really good onside kick....guy good on FGs and interested in the portal?
  16. Best play of the night for Indiana
  17. I'm still scratching my head. I mean look we have all seen some pussy coaching moves (cough, Mack, cough) but that one had to be the biggest one of all time
