  1. And that was noting that Buffalo was the best road team left going into the weekend. The Bills are the only team left with the horses to beat KC at Arrowhead.
  2. https://twitter.com/MPRnews/status/1485327929798275082?s=20 Man gets court injunction to stay on a vent. Family moves him to Texas. He doesn't make it.
  3. Gary Anderson misses his first FG of the season in the 98 NFC Championship and the 15-1 Vikings lose at home to the dirty birds.
  4. Finding the pearl in an avalanche of shit, COVID edition. The Met Council has been sampling and testing for COVID viral material in the effluent flow into the Pigs Eye wastewater treatment plant in St. Paul. This suggests that the peak in the Twin Cities was around January 10, which was 3 weeks after the start of the run-up here. This is a much better measurement, given that reported cases from testing are backlogged all to hell here in Minnesota. Don't fuck around with those that literally handle all of your shit.
  5. Shoveling shit in Louisiana has a nice ring to it.
  6. The only way he doesn't run is if he's dead or in jail/prison. His ego is too big. And the instant he declares, he clears the GOP field.
  7. TL,DR: He couldn't stand being called out on his bullshit so he hung up. There was so much mush in that interview that it could have fed the Russian Army for a week.
  8. Ron Johnson wants another term in Wisconsin.
  9. Anytime a gun goes off when the responsible person didn't intend to is a negligent discharge. https://www.poynter.org/reporting-editing/2021/the-difference-between-accidental-and-negligent-discharge-and-why-journalists-shouldnt-parrot-police-language/
  10. Kim Potter GUILTY of both 1st and 2nd degree manslaughter
  11. Not sure what they're going to do. On the one hand, this Court loves to gut executive branch authority. On the other, the same Court that gave us Jacobson v. Massachusetts turned around and immediately issued Lochner v. New York, which is the cornerstone of modern Republican policy.
  12. The jury is working their second day of deliberations on the case of Kim Potter, who was the Brooklyn Center cop who tried to tase a driver but drew her service weapon instead, shooting and killing the driver. She's facing 1st and 2nd degree manslaughter. She took the stand in her own defense, but couldn't explain her actions while there. That said, no one seems to have any idea what this jury is going to do.
  13. The Abbott tests seem to, based on what I've seen from Delta and other airlines, so long as you follow the instructions during the process. It beats scrambling around whatever city you're in for a test.
  14. IMHO the only way Trump doesn't run again in 2024 is if he's dead or in prison. (I figure it's about an even 3-way split on the chances of each). And the instant he declares, he clears the Republican field. The only consolation is that all of the tampering in Georgia is in Fulton County, not MGT country.
  15. Any issues with getting around Italy with just your vaccine cards in lieu of the Green Pass? Our family is going in January and we have been trying to figure out how all of that works. Also, it looks like they're automatically testing everyone as they're leaving the airport now.
  16. Tornadoes may be more dangerous because no one is expecting them in December, but the bigger issue of 60s-to-20s is cold temps plus power outages.
  17. I don't think there will be enough energy here in the Twin Cities for things to really crank up, but the fact we're discussing any of this on DECEMBER 15 is batshit crazy.
  18. This explained why Hannity was trending on Twitter.
  19. Considering that bed occupancy in Minnesota has been roughly 90/10 unvaccinated since roughly August, you can lay this mess squarely at their feet.
