  1. Any reason I can’t take more than two droppers per “serving?” I bought the 8mg/dropper serving from CBDistillery and haven’t felt much with either 1 dropper or 2 droppers under the tongue. I’d like to try 3 droppers (eventually I’ll just buy a stronger mixture if it works). Any downside other than I’m swallowing more oil? I did notice it gave me a slight stomach ache.
  2. I'd just build that in to you relo package for you company to pay. Good luck. It appears I am in the exact same situation (Houston to Denver)
  3. Thanks - this has taken a bit longer to crystallize than I thought, but looks like we are on for EOY shipping out there. In all likelihood, it'll be a 2 to 3 year deal. Looking at home prices I can't see how its a good idea for me to drop cash on a house in the current market, so we are thinking maybe going rental. Couple more specific questions now that the time approaches - what's the thoughts on the market short term? Rent is better than buy if the horizon is 3 years or less right? If we rent I could see going 4-5k/mo. Looks like enough to get into Cherry Creek, but if we are able to spend that amount, is there another neighborhood that is comparably nice? Keep in mind, I'll have to make it worth my Woodlands housewife's while to uproot and move to Denver, so a "nice" neighborhood is a plus if only so she doesn't bitch. My office is smack in the middle of downtown, and I am used to commuting about 45 mins, so anything that's like 30 mins or less would be great.
  4. I see no changes, all I see is racist faces...
  5. 2 days max in Dublin. It's just a big city IMO. Spend some time in the smaller towns and cities. We did a loop basically starting in Dublin ->train to Galway. From Galway we took day trips to Cliffs of Mohr and some surrounding national parks. Then went south and drove to Kilarney. Spent time in Kilarney national park (wish we would have spent longer there, it was incredible for hiking/outdoors stuff). THat was probably my top spot on the trip. Few days there, then drove east to Cork. Stopped at Blarney on the way, pretty cool but a bit touristy. I recommend renting a car and going out on your own. Once you get used to it, the driving isn't terrible excepting perhaps the drive up to the cliffs. There's lots of small backroads with hedges or stone fences one each side, and big ass tour buses full of olds careening around the corners of the one way dirt roads. Other than that it was easy. Enjoy the trip. I would go back in a second and just spend time in the rural areas.
  6. Obligatory "it's expensive to be poor"
  7. Assessed value went up 32% lol. Get to protest again. Best part is, it was all on the improvement, no increase on land. Such a load of horseshit
  8. Huge. APC has resisted acquisition for a long, long time.
  9. Potential opp coming up to move to Denver for current company. I have a young kid with another one coming sooner than later so schools are important to me. Office will be downtown so I don’t want to live too far out. So far it seems like cherry creek, and Stapleton are near to downtown with good elementary schools. Any other areas to target?
  10. Yup. Stories like this just reinforce why I cannot support the death penalty. There will always be mistakes
  11. Of course. Those were the two I cross shopped (technically the Yukon too, but I didn't bother driving it since it is literally the Tahoe until you get to the Denali trim). I preferred the ride on the Tahoe as well, as well as the looks. Glad you are happy with your purchase!
  12. Kinda late to this party, but yes I recently bought a Tahoe. I love it, what are you wondering specifically?
  13. In AOC's case it's probably due to lack of understanding.
  14. Man some of the mental gymnastics defending every single faux pas and idiotic thing AOC says rivals the shit we see from the MAGA folks that everyone likes to bitch about. Wild.
  15. That certainly appears to be murder
  16. I'll take "things that won't buff out for $50 Alex" https://www.pprune.org/rumours-news/619071-ua-4933-runway-excursion-pqi-march-4-2019-a.html Glad to see that all pax/crew were ok, but must have been absolutely terrifying.
  17. Primitive technology https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAL3JXZSzSm8AlZyD3nQdBA Dude doesn't say a word ever but builds the most ridiculous shit using nothing but raw materials he finds in the forest and primitive tools he makes himself. There's one where he builds a mud hut with a thatched roof and primitive infloor heating. It's absolutely fascinating. Here's the tiled roof hut (he makes the tiles) with the in-floor heating
  18. I've always done Mich, and that's currently what's on the wife's car right now, but my Tahoe came with Bridgestone H/L Alenza Plus and I have to say I am pretty impressed with them. The ride is excellent and there's a lot less road noise than even my wife's car (with the Mich tires) but that might be also partially attributed to the car itself. When these wear out I'll probably go back to Michelin, but I will definitely have to think about it harder than I have previously. They are priced about $9 more than comparable Michelins, so price is a wash.
  19. For both you and @Nivek - Depending on what you want to do (this holds especially true for field work) a face to face meeting will trump any sort of electronic or phone contact you can make. I know guys who will put on their nice jeans and boots (dress for your audience here - if you're in midland put the boots on, if you're at corporate in Houston then put on a suit) and beat down people's doors resume in hand until they got a job. The adage of "it's not what you know, but who you know" is relevant in the oil field probably more so than anywhere else I have ever seen. Every guy you know that's a dumbass making good cash had a connection. Every single one. If you don't have one, then get to steppin' until you get in front of someone who can help you. Additionally, the pay for the guys in the field is high because of 1. the risks involved with many of the jobs, 2. the hours and work schedules involved and 3. those guys are the first ones gone during down turns. If you're near a major city like Houston, an office job will be less hours, probably slightly less pay, but you'll be making more money (especially in a commercial function if you can get it) than others you know at your age/work the same hours as you. If you have an opportunity to "do something boring" it might be a good way to get your foot in the door as you seem to realize. But like I said, meeting with someone face to face will go a long, long way in my experience
  20. Pretty clear you're a troll now. At least I hope nobody is actually this stupid.

    Tax reform

Absolutely, and I generally do for whatever ones I can, but there's usually a couple I have to wait on.

I just can't believe how quickly some of y'all got all the documents you need to file already.
  23. Amazing anyone still defends coach milk dud head. Nice guy, but damn was he out of his depth from day one.
