  1. This thread interests me as I am looking at making a trip to the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore area. These pictures make me want to go sooner rather than later.
  2. NBC Shit Show: ‘Ultimate Slip ‘N Slide’ Production Shut Down Over ‘Explosive Diarrhea’ Outbreak (Exclusive) NBC’s “Ultimate Slip ‘N Slide” just became the ultimate s— show. The upcoming TV competition series, adapted from the classic backyard waterslide by Wham-O, has shut down indefinitely after up to 40 crew members fell violently ill during production on a remote ranch in Simi Valley, California, TheWrap has learned. According to a person with knowledge of the production, the outbreak of “awful explosive diarrhea” left people “collapsing” on set and “being forced to run into port-o-potties.”
  3. The Burning Room, yes. Elements of The Concrete Blonde were used in Season 1. https://www.michaelconnelly.com/bosch-tv/
  4. Strong band name potential.
  5. I cannot imagine any reason I would ever be in the middle of nowhere north central Kansas, but if I was dropped there by a tornado or something, then, yeah, I probably would stop and check out the world's largest ball of twine. Why not?
  6. Well, then, can I interest you in the Devil's Rope Museum (and Route 66 Museum) in McLean, TX? It has everything you want to know about barbed wire and fencing tools. https://www.barbwiremuseum.com/ Not to be confused with the Kansas Barbed Wire Museum in La Crosse, KS. Or the exhibit of 1,300 strands and collection of 8,000 strands of barbed wire at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, OK.

  15. Aransas Pass, San Patricio County, TX - Mickey's Bar And Grill The South Of The Border burger is a tasty burger. Better than any burger has any right to be at a place where you have to drive through a trailer park to get to and is located directly across the street from a wastewater treatment facility. However, you can also get to it by boat, so it has that going for it.

    Call Me Kat

Oh, they most certainly are a thing. If you are in Houston and you want to have some coffee while surrounded by felines, you can visit El Gato Coffeehouse. Well, not right now with whole pandemic thing going on, but when everything opens back up, you can visit. Here is an article from 2018 about 11 cat cafes around the country that you should visit if one is so inclined to hang out with cats.
