  1. The random winner criticism is overblown. There have only been a handful of true randos over the last 30 years (Tim Clark in 2010, Stephen Ames in 2006, Fred Funk in 2004 and Craig Perks in 2002). No different than any of the majors. (Willett, Schwartzel, Immelman, Weir) (Walker, Dufner, Yang, Micheel, Beem) (Woodland, Glover, Ogilvy, Campbell, Jones) (Hamilton, Curtis, Lawrie, Baker Finch).

    MLS 2023

I hear you but I expect that the vast majority of the audience only really wants to watch one team. MLS must rely on the match going fan much more than any of the other major American sports leagues.
  3. haha. old army is at least 98% mongoloid
  4. He just needs a couple weeks away from the game to "heal"
  5. It's the same number
  6. Inspirational putting display by Jordan
  7. Exactly. You could easily spend most of your waking hours watching golf and golf content without watching LIV.
  8. Tweedy really didn't miss from 1990 - 2005 which is a hell of a run. His solo writing clearly isn't at the same level as the work he produced with Jays but he still has some gems within the uneven records.
  9. You are both lying. No one knows anyone who watches LIV
  10. Yeah, the PGA Tour has responded with surprising effectiveness to the LIV threat.
  11. LIV is awful. Glorified member-member. Half of these guys are probably drinking cocktails during their rounds. A 0.2 plus their dwindling attraction to PGA stars spell the beginning of the end.
  12. The King of Power and Influence? At least we have that in addition to a bunch of Alamo Bowl appearances, NCAA Tournament first weekend exits and monthly payments to failed coaches in the revenue sports. 3 regular season (none since 2008) and 1 tournament basketball conference titles and 3 football conference titles (none since 2009) in 25 years. We really owned this conference. Keep jerking off to the revenue table and other people's money though. Truly aggy-level coping.

    MLS 2023

Going to MLS games is very fun but otherwise the league is a complete beating.
  14. Potter is getting quite the free pass from the English press. He’s lucky he’s English
  15. I don't watch much Arsenal but I thought Ben White started at RB. Am I wrong or is hurt?
  16. Good decision starting Tomiyasu
  17. Correct. Nike once again controls the suburbs. Every middle school and high school girl also has a pair of 270s as their workout shoes. Chucks dominated two years ago.
  18. Rihanna completely mailed in that performance which I greatly respect.
  19. Is this satire? If so, well done.
  20. Pretty much. Chelsea and City had 1 and 2 titles, respectively, before oil. Everton had the second most titles until 1989.
  21. Those things don't yield media attention.
  22. The EPL clearly told the Saudis that another Man City would not be permitted and that City would soon be punished for its FFP violations. The Newcastle build has been deliberate, patient and intelligent and they are way ahead of schedule as a result of the fortuitous decline of Liverpool, Chelsea's awful season, the Glazer ownership of United and the impending relegation of City. Chelsea is pushing much of the expense of its spending spree into future years which the EPL and UEFA will soon curtail as well. Chelsea just identified a loophole in the rules that will be closed soon but they won't be punished for a practice that was not illegal at the time they were doing it.
  23. All of the players have relegation release provisions in their contracts. City will be required to accept the highest bid that they receive for Haaland and everyone else.
  24. City will be relegated, their titles removed and their players allowed to leave on free transfers. Pep is also now effectively a free agent. Liverpool +3 titles United +3 titles
