I would think you would know what a straw man is, logically speaking, but this post indicates you actually don't.
I must have missed the flag concern posts.

People simultaneously claiming to be upset because they love the flag while then getting mad at Kaepernick for preventing the production and sale of flag shoes. Hard to think of something more disrespectful to the flag, past or present, than walking in it and visually stepping on it with every stride.
But yes, be upset that now Nike won't make millions of dollars off foreign labor so that thousands of people can wear something that looks like the flag on their feet.
The strawman density in this post is impressive. Respect

Austin's future:

USA USA USA. Rapinoe showing some balls of steel out there

Seems like Horan for Lavelle ASAP and Press for Rapinoe around 60 would make sense.

The US really needs a midfielder who can control possession. Is there one anywhere on the team? Perhaps maybe a substitute who is arguably the best midfielder in the world the coach inexplicably refuses to start?
My mind. It's pretty fucking boggled right now

We should be Germany 2014 and are playing like Greece 2004

Agreed that Dunn can't defend at an elite level. Horan would be nice right now

Mewis has played well and can match up against the monster CB from France on set pieces, Lavelle is the only really creative MF and Ertz is the irreplaceable leader on the pitch and maintains discipline as the DM.
That is the argument. Not a good one though considering Horan is arguably the best MF in the world

Ellis is a fucking moron. Outside of the U.S. , Horan is almost universally regarded as our best player.
This is a Brianna Scurry over Hope Solo level of stupidity. Just absurd

Thanks for your thoughtful response and service to this issue.

Impossible to predict how this goes. France simply hasn't been impressive in either the group stage or against Brazil relative to their reputation coming into the tournament. They should also be somewhat tired after playing 120 minutes against Brazil.
The U.S. was excellent in the group stage but the competition was lacking. They were also somewhat fortunate against Spain, although the performance was better than the media reports would lead you to believe and was also hamstrung by poor coaching and a ridiculous GK error.
This game could go any way. Shellacking by either team or close win by either team. I'm expecting a battle with a wounded victor walking into a SF against a relatively fresh England

What is the % breakdown of the homeless population within the following groups (understanding that there is significant overlap)?
- Mental illness other than addicts
- Addicts
- Voluntarily homeless (for example, but not exclusively, 20 year old "travelers")
- Mentally deficient
- Down on their luck not attributable to the other categories

The VY era was as good as it gets for us and probably won't be matched before we die. Real talk

Floating the war tax idea wasn't a complete disaster. It reminded the media and voters that Beto is running for President.

7 UEFA teams in the quarterfinals is the story of the tournament. They had 5 in the super early years (91 and 95) but haven't had more than 4 since.

The lack of pace on the left side of the English defense is the biggest weakness for either team.
