Last Stand and 47 Brand are just awful. Hats for the white 65+ crowd. Look like they are made in someones garage

    Agree to agree

The last stand guy seems like an ass clown. Don't know him other than just social media but based on that alone I can't believe he ever cleared the licensing department. What even is the vetting process one wonders

This is 10000% true - both Mariachi performances were total energy drains.  I like the Mariachi's in the 4th quarter of the Sam Houston St. type games, but it is way out of place in any kind of intense game atmosphere.

I understand and embrace the entertainment aspect of the stadium experience.  I know it isn't for me and, for the most part, I neither enjoy it nor am particularly bothered by it.  I also go to most away games.  Other than the OU and Michigan experiences, every place does it more or less the same.  There does seem to be a bit of competition, wanting to be the one with the newest or latest gadget.  DKR seems (mostly) ahead of the curve on that with the drones and lights and such - though UGA had this coordinated wrist light things that produced a pretty remarkable light effect during timeouts.

I realize this is probably too much to expect, but I wish there was more flexibility/adaptability.  I understand there is probably a script that is produced ahead of time that they follow, but it would be great if there was more of an ability to read the room, so to speak, and make snap decisions on what will best work.  The mariachis went over like a lead balloon early in the game - I know it would suck for them to get cut later, but rolling them out again later was a disservice to the team/stadium.  Knowing when to stay out of the way, or when to do a crowd favorite.  Is 4th down coming up?  Did they just give up a long TD and need some pumping up?  Is momentum building to a crescendo?  There needs to be more adaptability.

    Nailed it

Mariah Carey in the 4th quarter was just like.... Wtaf

And while we're at it, the mattress mack hype thing is cringe every. single. time.

  3. Genuinely curious.... Why is it that Disney is catching all the heat for this and Google escapes scot free?

Isn't one read that Disney is valuing their shit appropriately, and Google is being stubborn refusing to relent?

Why wouldn't Google just give in and raise their prices? Seeems like a better move for them as a business imo.

UI sucks ass? how? Hulu takes 4 clicks to get back to the guide. the guide starts at the very top. no multiview, fubo is instant, customizable guide, easy to maneuver around.

fast forwarding does suck, ill give you that. but I dont miss YTTV at all with fubo.

I'm with you. The YTTV interface is superior but not enough to be a deal-breaker

I wish there was a way to perfectly sync Craig way with the tv broadcast

Ah man. We used to do this at my house as a kid. We had the radio going thru a tuner so we could put our own delay on it. Was the tits

  6. Did a fubo trial for the vandy game. For my watching habits, it's actually superior to YTTV. Basically I'm trading CNN/TNT/TruTV for Spurs games. Pretty massive win in my book tbh.

Picture quality didn't strike me as any better or worse than YTTV.

Dvr/navigating 10 seconds back during game for a replay, etc, seemed a little less intuitive than YTTV but not a deal breaker.

You can also stream on way more devices simultaneously on fubo than YTTV. Think it's like 10 vs 4.

Our YTTV just auto renewed for the month on Oct 29, and Google won't prorate your subscription if you cancel early, otherwise I'd have already made the permanent switch. As it is, I'll hold off til next weekend and if we need fubo for Georgia, I'll bite the bullet and double pay for a couple of weeks. Those dicks.

  7. I think we are saying the same thing. Only in the last couple of years have you started seeing officially licensed throwback or "vault" gear for Texas. And to reiterate - I don't know how it works - but I suspect that has less to do with increased demand for the product and more to do with our licensing department finally allowing companies to produce the older marks.

I get the impression that the powers that be spent a lot of years building the brand and did not want to weaken the steer head logo by flooding the market with screaming bevo and cranky bevo and runnin' horns bevo, etc.

I may be in the minority but personally I own more "vault" logo gear than stuff with just the iconic steerhead.

  8. The bucs sucked out loud with the old colors and have won 2 titles with the current look. I get the idea the old color scheme would win a fan popularity contest though. Maybe not, but it could make for an interesting study in branding.

This is the handiwork of [NAME REDACTED]in [WHERE I LIVE]. It’s all chain stitched and is perfect, imo. Shirt is a 70’s, long tail pearl snap shirt that is Pantone perfect. Picked it up today to pack for Columbus, where I’m hoping it isn’t ruined by piss stains (not mine, mind you).
