  1. You have less than zero idea what you're blabbing about, maybe sit this one out.

  4. This is some self defeatist BS and I'm glad the people in charge of this decision don't have this mindset. Texas has more resources than anyone in the nation, the game just changed completely with NIL, and in order to maximize our resources we need to be in the premier college football conference. Saban can't coach forever, we are playing the long game.
  5. Texas got a two day head-start on you, which is more than it needs. Texas has friends in every town and village from here to the Sonoran. It speaks a dozen languages and knows every local custom. Texas will blend in, disappear and you'll never see it again. With any luck Texas got the grail already.
  6. Rankings don't tell the whole story, we've been consistently missing out on most of the very elite Texas prospects, especially at DL/OL.
  7. I understand you are upset and I get it, but this just isn't going to be true anymore with NIL. NIL will completely change the game, and I'm glad to see Texas for once being proactive about navigating the rapidly changing CFB landscape.
  8. Not letting players use burnt orange for NIL has to be one of the most ridiculous shoot yourself in the dick examples of a "smart" guy outsmarting himself that I've ever read about.
  9. It would be interesting to read some examples of NIL stuff that has been shot down.
  10. Laughable that RBR is crying for Hamilton to be suspended considering how Max drives, do we want these race car drivers to actually race each other or just parade around the track?
  11. Max was all over the track even going off once trying to block Hamilton before the wreck, this was bound to happen with how aggressive he drives and Hamilton’s need to turn up the pressure to get back in the Champ race.
  12. I’m not seeing where Lewis flared out on the corner, when their wheels touched his tires straighten out which make it appear that way. Lewis wasn’t going to hit the apex but Max had plenty of room on the outside he just wasn’t going to back off. My opinion is this was hard racing between aggressive drivers with neither driver going to back off and a 10 second penalty was probably the right call.
  13. Based on his coaching clinics Flood isn't as rigid in how he views OL prospects as the previous staff, he may view Greene as one of those that has the combo of athleticism/strength that would enable him to play either OG/RT.
  14. Re: Roy Williams physicality:
  15. The reason I fixate on the type of O each player operated in is because if Roy got to play in the WR friendly spread with Colt at QB then we wouldn't even be having this debate. I'm not sure how you came to your conclusions regarding route running/physicality/blocking but I strongly disagree.
  16. WR production is very dependent on scheme and QB. Roy didn't get to play in the WR friendly O that Shipley/Quan did and still put up better numbers than them over his career. I guess you could argue that since Shipley and Quan showed up in big games they are "superior football players", but I'd argue that had more to do with QB play and scheme.
