  1. Richard Jewell still alive?
  2. I'm convinced that gas station bathrooms in remote areas off an interstate are clues that we're in the matrix. Like, there is shit everywhere, on the walls, on the floor, on the sink, sometimes on the ceiling. The physics don't make sense how everyone else using those shitters are entirely incapable of landing their turd in the bowl. It's confounding.
  3. Nicole accusing err'one of "black and white nonsense" then sammich guy comes in with "fewer immigrants crossed cause it's the law." Still no policy discussion, just "immigrantion bad." How about some follow up numbers. How many corporate executives whose companies use undocumented labor have been prosecuted? How much in shareholder profits have been disgorged for such heinous crimes? I'll wait.
  4. JFC, nobody insulted you or was uncivil. It sounds like you just don't like being questioned. I literally proposed a solution. Legislation to make it legal to work in this country with criminal vetting and otherwise minimal barriers. You're hung up on immigration is bad if it's not legal. Several have said the problem is that it should be legal and the legislature has not done it because it's too good of a wedge issue. Feel free to ignore it yet again. I'm done here.
  5. But seriously, this, didn't think it was "browbeating" to have to push back against false narratives. The only browbeating I've seen is a wall post of "how dare you question my words." Looks like we got a new one here to tell us all about the "floodgates" and caravans and how it's all just so terrible that we need masked thugs putting people in their place for having the gall to have been born in a different country. Funny how there's been no comment on the crime rate of undocumented immigrants vs. natural born citizens. Or the economic benefits of immigrant laborers and corresponding lack of effective legislation. It might have been reported on PBS and is therefore FAKE NEWS. Easier to just say "CRIMINAL IMMIGRANTS" until everyone just accepts it and calls the police when they hear Spanish speakers in Walmart. No need to create a legal path to work, just jail them all and ship them to supermax in El Salvador, just as Jesus taught.
  6. I think both things can be true. (1) The NCAA tournament is not the best way to determine the best team in college basketball because, as he said, one and done can and often does knock off a far superior team which is why the NBA does best of 7 series for each round. (2) It's fun as hell to watch especially when a Cinderella upsets a blueblood. I agree with the comment above that college baseball is a far better system, it gives some flexibility for top seeds to drop a game early and still advance.
  7. Seriously, it's almost as though the US has a strong demand for labor, and Mexico and Central America have a supply, and that the US Government has refused to enact an immigration system that meets with this fact, and instead have used immigration as a wedge issue to get bigots and stupid people to the polls. It's really not that fucking hard to enact legislation that allows hardworking people to come here legally while keeping bad people out to the extent possible, but nope, CARAVANS and everything bad is because of brown, and HOW DARE I PRESS 1 FOR ENGLISH! Also, undocumented immigrants commit crimes at a far lower rate than natural born citizens and even legal immigrants. It's almost as though they're here to work and feed their families and not to commit crimes. Nah, that can't be, they speak a different language and are therefore evil. https://docs.house.gov/meetings/JU/JU01/20250122/117827/HHRG-119-JU01-20250122-SD004.pdf
  8. So did those chicks lez out yesterday or wut?
  9. I’m pretty sure they accept that it’s all because of Campbells money, just as I’m willing to accept that if Boone Pickens hadn’t built us a stadium and spurred others to donate for the indoor practice facility and other infrastructure we’d probably be in the new Pac 12 with Wazzu.
  10. LOL, okay so it is a bit. One good season out of nowhere because Skattaboo went beast mode…followed by mighty 8-4. Dynasty.
  11. Sure, for now. They should have an advantage next season. He’s saying like top 2-3 every year for eternity…because everyone else sucks. That’s just some shocking arrogance from a fan of a middling program like ASU. Especially on surly where most outsiders are pretty honest and straightforward about this stuff.
  12. Ok I really thought you were doing a bit, but really? What do you think ASUs status is and has been? I looked and before last season your only NY6 (as we used to call them) bowl was 1996. A whole bunch of mediocrity between. Where are you getting that ASU is doing better in NIL than everyone but Tech? Your QB is bolting likely for better NIL. And mocking TCU? They played in a national title game just a few years ago. I also saw you say “as long as we have a good QB” . . . no shit Sherlock. The current BIG 12 will have nobody who “should” be top 2 or 3 every year except maybe tech if Campbell keeps burning money on one year mercinary contracts and I’ll bet good money that they have some down years from time to time. If you really think that your conference mates are all just gonna lay down for . . . ASU . . . I mean, wtaf? The commitment is there at all the schools now and there’s literally nothing special about ASU. Saying everyone else sucks is so damn asinine. My alma mater beat ou two of the last three and beat Notre Dame in the Fiesta bowl two years ago. Played in two of the last three conference championship games before OU and Texas left. Gundy screwed up NIL and is now gone and we made a good hire who’s going to bring with him a good qb. Dillingham’s a good coach but bro calm down.
  13. So, someone posted that Reiner's last IMBD entry is Conan's podcast and says 2025, and it is in fact there. I've been listening to the podcast pretty much every episode for a little over a year now. It looks like Reiner's last appearance was with Albert Brooks in 2023, so he may have done a recording very recently and has not yet been published. They usually publish several weeks after they are recorded. That would be even more tragic. Conan can be a very serious person about certain things and I can't imagine the decsion on how to handle it if his podcast really was Reiners last recorded appearance. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001661/
  14. I mean, both start with the letter F, seems legit.
  15. I had no idea Albert Brooks' given name was Albert Einstein. That's pretty funny. According to wikipedia: "By the age of 19, he had changed his professional name to Albert Brooks, joking that "the real Albert Einstein changed his name to sound more intelligent."
  16. Sounds like a huge slut. I mean that's what they called Kamala Harris for dating and having sex with people prior to getting married. I bet Erika has some inspriation from the goat herself Nancy Reagan.
  17. The only defense that looked objectively worse was LV and they might be the worst team the NFL has seen in a while. Edit: HAHA just looked it up and they are ranked a solid 16. Dallas D is truly pathetic.
  18. By this time next year I bet she'll have gotten carved up for full maga face. They seriously can't seem to help themselves.
  19. During the file-share era her videos were by far the most popular files available for download and worth the 30-45 minutes they took to download through dialup connections. She is truly special for our generation.
  20. Political insiders are also propping her up becasue it's part of their narrative that keeps the maga idiots voting for their brand of shit.
  21. Growing up in South Texas I heard racism of all sorts but never against the Jews. The history of Jewish hate in Europe is complex but I don't see how it applies to modern western societies. Note that criticism of actions of the State of Israel is a different matter that has existed for sometime and is currently at 11 becasue of their actions.
  22. And several more: "I don't always agree with his approach, but . . . "
