  1. Lol, Rangel finally does something to make me rethink and he blows up his clavicle. Hope we get some good Bowman. D needs to step up, can’t rely on turnovers.
  2. Ok that Ollie TD was sweet! OL still stinks.
  3. Rangel is a practice squad qb. We all know it, JFC. Just roll with Bowman already. He’s at least played good sometimes. Rangel has never been close to good.
  4. He got paid to stay. I think his draft is fine. The tape is there, the OL has been absolute dogshit and it’s obvious af on film.
  5. This 9:15 kickoff stuff is bullshit. I’ll be in bed by halftime anyway. We’ll be down 4 tds by then.
  6. There should be ads of “dramatic readings of Trump posts.” Show his craziest shit with this voiceover. Am I the only one who remembers when this was making the rounds? http://youtu.be/MBHOL1PcPR8?si=NVgnSq_9yZqc86vR
  7. Bowman has struggled. Of course, his senior laden offensive line can’t seem to find the “extra defender in the box” to block, so Ollie Gordon hasn’t been able to do shit, and it’s fucked the entire offense. Rangel is worthless, would probably ride the bench at Tulsa, so yeah, it’s gonna be bad, and we’re gonna miss our first bowl game since Gundy’s first season in 2005.
  8. The algorithym found me, kinda scary actually, I laughed for several minutes.
  9. Goddamnit, when will oversided logos just fucking die already? I'm glad OSU killed off the oversized Pistol Pete face helmet on an orange chrome background, it was awful.
  10. Dumb question amnesty. I've seen a lot about lines for early voting. I thought the point of early voting was to avoid lines on election day (other than you might be out of town or whatever). Seems odd that the lines are so long. My precinct is unusually small and Oklahoma has like a 30% participation rate so I never have a line on election day even for presidental elections. Either way, I'm glad people are enthused, and I have to assume its more for Harris than dipshit.
  11. Still pisses me the fuck off that with Biden it was the media itself raising the concerns, but with trump they always say its others raising the concern. I posted one earlier (paraphrase): "Harris Questions Trump's Mental Acuity After Dance Rally" This one: "Trump's Bizarre Speeches Concern Allies" With Biden it was: "Biden Debate Raises Questions of Competency" The first two suggest that the questions are subjective in the minds of those referenced (Harris; Trump Allies). With Biden it's treated as objective concerns (no reference that the question is raised by a third party). Maddening.

And it was still pretty damn hot, lol. It’s always a huge event. Last time I tried to take my kids it was too much for them, couldn’t find a good spot. Way bigger than even the Christmas parade. The county will still vote red but there are a ton of good people here doing good work.
  13. I don’t think the Univision interview was to sway Hispanic voters but to motivate Fox News viewers and get them pissed off that people spoke Spanish and didn’t kiss his ass.
  14. Medical science is amazing, didn’t even know we had a “hitting the concrete from 3 floors up” vaccine. Incredible, gonna ask my doctor to protect myself from such misfortune.
  15. Remember when Al Gore made a sort of awkward but largely accurate statement about his role in the early development of the internet that got misrepresented as him claiming that he "invented" the internet and it almost ruined his political career? Yeah, I 'member.
  16. With a dozen channels and streaming there just aren’t enough eyeballs for every game to need to be a good or great matchup. This year Week 2 seemed to have overloaded on mismatch games but that’s easily fixable if the conferences and networks collaborated to spread them out better, but that’s not how it works, coordination is a bad word. Even a little bit of collaboration could have preserved rivalries, maintained some sanity in geography, and made everyone more money, including beaucoup bucks for the bluebloods. But nah, let’s put Cal in the Atlantic Coast Conference, and Toledo in the Mountain West.
  17. If programs or networks wanted to do away with the layup games they’d be gone. They serve a purpose. It’s a 12 game season, plenty of better matchups throughout. They just added a bunch of extra high profile games by expanding the playoff. If they wanted more revenue they’d make the season 13 or 14 games or more. With a dozen channels and streaming not every fucking game is going to be a great matchup. Even the NFL has a few duds each week.
  18. All of his lies are verifiably false. They don’t care. They’re already blaming the mayor and probably librul Gov. “Newscum.” For fucks sake, he’s out there saying he transferred power peacefully and they believe him. If the hours of Jan. 6 footage didn’t damage his campaign literally nothing will with these people. Only hope is that the polls are off and she wins in a Reagan style landslide.
  19. I don’t think I recall him ever facing real media. It’s always in that stupid fucking room or somewhere around the Star where it’s all softball shit with people who know he’ll pull their access to the complex if they ask tough questions. Otherwise it’s settings like discussing the latest Cowboys hall of fame indictee. So yeah in his narcissist brain he faces media all the time, just friendly media over which he has complete control.
  20. I play pickup baseball with a guy I know supports Trump, but I only know because of a few Facebook posts, never talks about it and has only posted a couple of times. That’s about as close as I can get. Have some others I know but they are acquaintances or professional connections and they don’t talk much about it either. I honestly don’t see where or how I’d come across a loudmouth maga fuck in my in any foreseeable setting. I just don’t operate at all in those spaces.
  21. I still think major programs like having at least one warm up game that counts, and yeah, the once every now and then upset makes it fun, even if people don't tune in until late. The early non-con schedule always has enough good matchups to fill the TV schedule. You don't need every single game to be a big time matchup.
