  1. Paid $200k to flip a 3 star QB from OKST. Classic blueblood activities, lol.
  2. That’s the best explanation I’ve heard about our program in a while. It’s the same pretty much every year but we’ve overachieved pretty much every year, sometimes greatly overachieved, and this is the first year we’ve greatly underachieved. The 2021 season when we beat OU and then ND in the Fiesta Bowl was almost identical to last year, we had to make big comebacks pretty much every week and found a way.
  3. It’s twitter, they’re morons. I’m hearing that one of the regents (maybe the chair) was super anti-Gundy and made things way more dramatic than it should have been and the twitterverse went full twitter. That’s why Shrum and Weiberg looked frustrated after the executive session, they wanted to work a deal in good faith. Understand that half our regents are rednecks from bumblefuck that just happen to have four generations of ranching or oil wealth from free land their great great grandpappy got when it was taken from the Natives. Fuck that guy, seriously, this all should have been behind closed doors. I’m happy to hear they are putting pressure on him to hire real coordinators and not try to pluck a diamond in the rough from the fucking NAIA, that’s all that I wanted and what pissed me off most about Gundy. One report is that he was already close to both hires before Boss Hog on the board of regents went full drama queen. Allegedly.
  4. Only one stupid tweet said the cause thing. There’s no fucking cause. It would be a buyout.
  5. Twitter was wrong? No wai, not possible. Edit: Ok, Holcomb is a legitimate source, but I think it's still overdramatic. My guess is it's not "5:00 or your fired" but "let's reconvene at 5:00 and see if we can work it out" or something. If he doesn't like the terms and they part ways it should be a negotiated buyout. If it really was a hard ultimatum the regents look really bad imo and makes $25M a hard payout.
  6. Lol Thamel, completely useless sack of shit. He's not exactly a credible source when it comes to Oklahoma State. He can literally go fuck himself.
  7. My recollection is that he was hiring car services to take him to the casinos to drink and bang sluts and that's why we loved him. All those Red Bull and vodkas finally caught up to him I think, he's lost it, have fun Neby, lol.
  8. He's been notoriously stubborn about coordinators. The one thing that would have me joining the mob against him would be if he were to look to DII for coordinators again. The Nardo hire really bit him in the fucking ass. The last credible rumor I saw was that the AD or administration gets a say in the coordinator hire. If that sets him off, I'm fine with us parting ways. Otherwise I agree, you don't fire him for a bad season.
  9. My freshman year our longest rushing play from scrimmage all season was 11 yards. Yeah, not even fucking close.
  10. I don’t think it’s as dramatic as it sounds but shit is definitely happening. And you all know that Bowman post is from a parody account, right? He’s been posting his farewells on Instagram all week.
  11. Reminds me of a few of OSU's seasons, lol.
  12. That's what it's always been and is still enormously popular. I looked out of curiousity and it's not an AAC conference game, each got the same number of AAC opponents as the rest of the conference and next week is a non-conference game.
  13. That’s about as likeable as he’s capable of, he’s still a piece of shit.
  14. I could get behind the idea of the champs getting the bye then reseeding after the opening round but it might further diminish the CCGs.
  15. The TE from Miami was on his 9th year right?
  16. I feel like I shouldn’t have to remind people what the program was like before Gundy (including his tenure as OC under Les Miles). You don’t can a guy who has literally transformed the program and made 18 straight bowl games over one bad season. I don’t think we made 18 bowl games in the 100 years before he came back to coach. I wish he’d manage his mouth a little better but I’ll take winning seasons over the alternative. The minute he’s gone we become a stepping stone job where half the hires will bust and the other half (if we’re lucky) have enough success and gets poached after 2-3 years.
  17. Lol wut? They were terrible. He’s always been stubborn af about replacing coordinators voluntarily. Needed to happen. His job is not in jeopardy.
  18. He’s not in any danger but the DII hire for DC was a complete bust, and Dunns offenses even in our better years never lived up to prior iterations. I was going to be super pissed if we didn’t replace them, at least the DC.
  19. I wonder if the SMU ad will feel the same if they lose and Bama is on over them. The committee should consider SMU a one loss team regardless since Bama gets to sit at home after letting Jackson Arnold drag his mediocre nuts across their faces. But like I said before they bring the ratings and the committee should just be honest about it.
  20. Pollard has a legitimate point. The 9th Big 12 game is a significant boost to the SOS but is meaningless to the committee which reasons around anything that doesn’t support their preferred outcome. Bama is in for TV ratings, period, regardless of whatever bs they give as their reasoning. It sucks for competition but realignment proved that money is all that matters anymore in CFB and there’s no reason to act surprised or get angry. I just kind of wish they’d be honest about it instead of always using bs inconsistent reasoning. Here’s all they had to say “Considering Bamas historic popularity and success including their run over the last 15 years, they receive a significant benefit of any doubt. The financial boon they bring to the system benefits everyone so they get the nod.”
  21. So were they already obsessed with "history" and "turdition" when they did this instead of going to "State" like all the other A&M colleges during that era? They seem to go hand in hand that they are the only major remaining "A&M" and also the ones dancing like Kansas City F-----s on the sidelines like it's the 1930s.
  22. I had to tune out at halftime because FML but damn CU's players really are over the top especially for a 3 loss team. The ref that pointed out that CU's players were blowing kisses to the crowd definitely should not have said it considering his position but he wasn't wrong. I know there is a lot of irrational hate for Prime and his squad but they seem to double down on it for the sole purpose of creating more haters and I do think it's annoying. I still like Prime and he's proven to be a good coach, and I don't fully blame him for the in your face culture these days. This weekend's brawls and the majority of comments about them just show that winning with class and dignity is dead as declared by a bunch of fake alphas who are now the prodominant voice in our society. Whatever, I am legitimately curious though how serious he is about his players not opting out of bowl games. He of all people strike me as the type to understand why Travis Hunter would prefer to not risk injury as the likely No. 1 overall pick for a meaningless trophy in whatever Corporate Sponsor Bowl they get assigned. My guess is he'll play but his snaps will be limited. Not sure how to do that with Shedeur without looking like a hypocrit.
  23. There’s plenty of extra money from the expanded playoff. Conference championship games just don’t feel the same anymore. I’d be fine with just using the regular season records and tiebreakers to award the trophy. The uneven schedules are already a problem so who cares.
  24. Pedo fans not buying them for reasonable price?
