  1. If his audience is super masculine alpha male types (at least in their own minds) this comes off as pure loser shit and their hero is laughing at him to his fucking face. That has to play to at least some of those guys, maybe enough to dampen their enthusiasm and they end up staying home? If Harris does the show she should flat out say that for such a strong guy he hasn’t been able to shut her up or the 40 million women who are already voting against him. Seems a big strong tough guy could make the lady stand down but here I am, calling him and idiot. Then keep hammering him for being a fat stupid fucking sore loser. He’s truly pathetic if any of them would sit down and actually think for a second.
  2. I assume Harris may still appear on Rogan? No way he takes Trump but says no to Harris. That would go against his faux "both sides" persona. He embodies all things maga so it wouldn't surprise me if he did that, or if trump told him he'd only appear if Harris was not invited and Rogan gave in, but my impression of him is that he would not do that if for no other reason that appearances.
  3. Nah, he was mullet back then too.
  4. It’s a weird year because of who is at the top of the standings and who’s at the bottom, but yes, the media deal was a big success in confernce survival.
  5. New DC for sure, Nard dog is in over his head. I’d be good moving on from Dunn as OC but he’s been there forever. QB is obviously the big question mark for next year. No idea what the roster will look like otherwise. OL is seasoned and should have been way better, hope we have some young guys ready to step in next year.
  6. The Toilet Bowl. TU can sit in the corner and watch. Then everyone cries afterward.
  7. I like the hire but it ain’t gonna be this year. I think we’re rightly predicted as like 14th. I’m ready for baseball and softball season. Apparently wrestling might start dominating again soon, I just can’t get into it for some reason.
  8. We’re playing like dog shit and now are riddled with injuries. Streaming will be the norm because we’re not relevant to the standings this year. I just hate that our 18 year bowl streak is likely over. We really needed to close out BYU. FML.
  9. Maybe. If the Big XII runner up’s only loss is the CCG it’s possible but I just don’t see it happening. I doubt the scenario arises though, there will be a few losses from the top of the Big XII by the time the CCG comes around and enough 2-3 loss Big/Sec teams to avoid having to consider a 4 loss team. It’s on streaming because both teams stink and the game has no relevance to the standings. Tech-TCU isn’t the fanciest matchup but it’s relevant to the standings and is on Big Fox. Baylor and UH should not have made the conference but shit happens and realignment has always been stupid as fuck so here we are (the old SWC schools brought Baylor along so can’t really blame us for their presence). I think TCU holds its own well enough despite a small alumni base but also likely would not have been promoted in a sane world of realignment.
  10. I agree. The "silent" trump voters from 2016 and to some extent 2020 were republicans who knew he was flawed but voted for him anyway without talking about it in open company. I think they are now silent "Kamala" voters because he's now the undisputed leader of the party and being a republican that doesn't support trump is traitorous in those circles, but to them, the bluster and bullshit has become too much. I think it's far more likely Kamala wins an electoral landslide than trump wins straight up. God damnit I hope I'm right.
  11. Nah, I’d bet a pizza on that not happening. An 8-4 Ole Miss gets in over an 11-1 non champ ISU or BYU. That’s how it was designed. Once OU/TX left and we somehow survived it was accepted as the new reality. Gotta win the CCG to make the CFP. We just wanted access and that’s what we got.
  12. A ten point shift in a week? Give me a fucking break. I used to love reading the Economist too.
  13. God damn. If he doesn't respond to this point by point you know he's just a typical maga troll in an "aw shucks" costume.
  14. Cannon has a lifetime appointment and is already set being incompetent and essentially unfireable. Why would she give that up for an at most 4 year appointment? Seems a better quid pro quo request would be a promotion to the 11th Circuit (after she’s done saving him at the trial court). I think Garland took the chance expecting 8 years under Biden but even if Kamala replaces him I can see her reappointing him to the bench. Say what you will about his tenure as AG he was a good judge. Cannon doesn’t have that.
  15. Sonic smasher is pretty darn good, but I did get it at the one “good” Sonic still in the area. Not cheap but less than Chilis and you can avoid the shame spiral from realizing you’re sitting at a table eating at fucking Chilis.
  16. That was boring as shit. Probably a good thing.
  17. I really think this country went way off the rails when we lost sight of what the President's role actually is. I know a lot if it is from FDR and the new deal but still, the President can't do much unilaterally and our electorate just doesn't seem to understand.
  18. "Please pick sides between Israel and Palestine." This country is so dumb.
  19. I 100% believe its true. If it was the daughter or grand daughter of a big donor he was probably culted out of going to the press with confirmation. "He's an old man, he's confused, gimme those tax cuts!!!"
  20. If he was caught chugging cock on camera they'd start wearing rainbow hats and claim that democrats are trying to outlaw sodomy. These people have zero values, non whatsoever. They've flip flopped on all sorts of bullshit, nothing would change.
  21. Voir Dire: “Mr. Aubrey, can you please tell the court just how fat of a fucking retard Mike McCarthy is, and I’ll remind you that you are under oath.”
  22. Nope, wouldn't matter, at all. There is literally only one thing that could come out and lose him the election, if he gets on stage and admits that he's been a liberal plant all along to prove how stupid republican voters are, then flips them all off and calls them losers. Even then, he'd probably only lose enough votes to lose the election, the vast majority would think he was just joking and that his words "owned the libs" somehow.
