  1. They still run these old commercials locally, lol.
  2. Sonics in Oklahoma used to be Iike Whataburgers in Texas, the best of fast food. Now both are just terrible. Sonic in particular has lost its edge in speed and service, it takes 20 minutes, almost as long as Whataburger. The one by me closes randomly for a day or two because they aren’t staffed. I think Braums is probably the best of Oklahoma fast food chains these days. Some local joints have drive thrus now too that are far superior in quality.
  3. That face he made is about as human as he is capable of, and it would actually be funny if he was normal and made the joke intentionally, which he might have, but he's just so fucking weird and inauthentic, it doesn't work, lol.
  4. If its real there really is just no justification whatsoever to remain on that platform unless you're a truth social type of person. Should be that way anyway, to be honest.
  5. So weird that these guys were completely shat on by their orange god and continue to suck the mushroom. So. Fucking. Weird.
  6. And after all the time and effort pretending to investigate Joe and convicting Hunter for tax problems, the pivot is to "women without children are psychopaths and can't be leaders and all minorities in high positions are DEI."
  7. I mean, I agree, but the right has been campaigning from the pulpit for 50 fucking years without repercussion, so why the fuck not do it for the other side too? Otherwise, you're just ceding an entire avenue of outreach to only one side.
  8. But they like the oversized cartoon pirate flag helmet and poop brown pants? Easily the worst unis currently in use. It's from that short era in the 90's where so many teams abandoned classic looks for dark colors and infantile logos. Bucs, Pats, and Broncos need to go back to their classic look, like yesterday.
  9. I mean sure, if they're talking to democrat politicians, they will be what they mostly are, attacking the republican candidates, and to some extent, the extremist wing of their cult followers. If they're talking to xhitter and reddit users, good luck, lol, if they offend you and you go back to trump, you never cared about the constitution anyway. And this block is so small that I don't really see it registering in any meaningful way in the polls.
  10. My 6 year old son beat me at Super Mario Monopoly Jr last night and gloated for the next several hours until he finally passed the fuck out. Team Childless by Choice (woulda coulda shoulda). Im also happy to hear that Kamala will allow abortion post birth, can we make it 24th trimester?
  11. Am I right that Walz started the “weird” thing? He’s the first I recall seeing but I really only watch clips here. The fact that its everywhere now makes it feel like he’s the pick.
  12. I want Walz. The contrast between him and Vance will be so hard for even the hardest maga to ignore. He’s just plain likeable. And didn’t he start the “weird” mantra? Yeah he’s got it.
  13. I mean, seriously, numerous articles have been written about white evangelicals and their vote. All he’s doing is talking to the people who are already voting for him and, hopefully, alienating other Christians. Not to mention, how is the RNC not furious? He’s saying vote for me but don’t worry about republicans in the future. What a bunch of dickless cucks.
  14. Beahear is out too. The damage is done, no coming back from this scandal.
  15. Play the ads all over Fox, etc, wait for him to post, then add the post to the end of the ad thereafter. He may end up literally losing his mind within a month:
  16. He referred to those last two years of high school as "idleness," so it sounds consistent with the right's complete undermining of basic education in general. There's a lot of learning going on in those years. Even kids who are on the wrong path usually pick a few things up along the way, and as you said, the focus should be finding solutions to get them through to the end of high school. There's plenty of opportunity to learn a trade those last two years and be ready to do whatever is available at 18. I mean, why would a factory even want a 16 year old running this type of equipment? Let the school train them first, it cuts the training time down significantly when they apply at 18.
  17. So that whole "stay in school" mantra never really resonated with you, huh? Also, you do realize that tech schools usually offer programs to high schoolers to learn trades, including relatively dangerous trades, in an age appropriate environment, right? There's been a pretty broad movement to do away with the "tech" or "trade" school stigma for kids who want to go that direction in high school. At my high school the trade programs were in a hallway with red flooring and being "sent" to the "red hall" was considered derogatory. I'm pretty sure that doesn't really fly anymore. There are also lots of jobs that high schoolers can do for part time cash. You seem to be on a really bizarre soapbox today.
  18. Come on, the question was obvious, "I'm not familiar with the dingdong poll, can you direct me to the subpolling that asked whether voters considered her a dingdong?"
  19. At least he's not in office this time, the new president would still be VP, and Biden would remain president through the delays. Nevertheless, I think even this SCOTUS would resolve this before Jan 20, and would not overturn the election.
