2025 NFL season opener: Cowboys at Eagles, 7:20 on NBC/Peacock
Seems like we haven’t had a simple pitch play in years. I liked the call.

Seems like 55+ is common these days on kicks. I don’t expect misses from distance anymore in the NFL.

2025 NFL season opener: Cowboys at Eagles, 7:20 on NBC/Peacock
I was talking g with a co worker today that the offense should be ok if Dak and CeeDee stay healthy (and most OL of course). Defense is a question and they are confirming the concern. Granted this is one of the best offenses in the league. Barkley and Hurts’ legs will give everyone fits all year. Still how about one stop? Pls?

FTR I don’t think Micah even if healthy would make any difference here. He never did in big games.

I would love nothing more than a blowout after that Carter bullshit. Fuck filly. We could lose out and I’d still be happy for this game.

RFK Jr. off the chain and off his rocker
With COVID, I can at least see some logic to skepticism considering the speed at which it was developed and that it was a newer mRNA technology, and wasn't aimed at complete eradication. The existing mandates are all decades old, proven to have little or no side effects, and indisputably eradicated all sort of horrible diseases in this country. Skepticism of those is just outright lunacy. If our species survives another 100 years or more there will be novels written about this particular time period and how stupid we became after centuries of development. I'm starting to think some of the conspiracy theories have some truth to it, like maybe our water supply is in fact being poisoned with something (not floride) that affects half of the population and makes them idiots. Maybe the same with chemtrails. I just don't get what the fuck is actually happening right now to lead us to this moment in time.

Realignment talk not going away
Because TCU was G5 at the time? Maybe?

Realignment talk not going away
You'd also make them promise not to circle the game and not to give any extra effort, lol. No P4 is going to agree to 2 for 1. It doesn't work that way. It will always be a home-and-home. If UT doesn't want that, then pay for G6 home game or go home-and-home with bluebloods only. Looking at your future non-con, that appears to be the approach, though it does show home-and-home with Arizona State for 2032 and 2033.

Left Behind: A Quick Dose Of Post Big 12 Reality
I think the House settlement also had a "clearinghouse" for NIL to evaluate whether the payments constitute legitimate NIL value and aren't just booster payments. It sounded really dumb and would almost certainly never even attempt to cancel an NIL deal. Even if it did, the name Manning itself would make his deals essentially limitless.

Realignment talk not going away
Well yeah, they'd be better, but it's a dumb hypothetical. TT, BU, and TCU have established far supperior fanbases and national interest to TSU, UTSA, Rice, UNT, and Tulsa. SMU is showing it belongs in P4 competitively and the fanbase appears to be growing. UH has potential but I still don't think they belong, it is what it is at this point. Look, I get it, non-bluebloods that play UT regularly get a boost in tv ratings and interest. Neither I, nor Al, nor anyone else from that tier program that post on surly has disagreed. You keep saying, over and over and fucking over again that these programs bring "nothing" to the table and that "nobody" watches and "nobody" cares. That's just fucking dumb and wrong. If your vision is a separate division solely for bluebloods, just say it, there has been plenty of discussion about that possibility. The hyperbole about how "valueless" the current Big XII teams are is what is tiresome.

Seriously, what a bitchass thought coming from a fan of a blueblood program. "They try too hard to beat us, oh noes!" And to be clear, this scenario would have payouts based on TV ratings, so UT still gets paid way more, and can bank playing other bluebloods with the 5 non-con/non-division games of their choosing, which would not affect their division standings and path to the playoff. The only part of Cody Campbell's proposal that stood out to me is collectively bargaining the TV contract expanding the overall pie. The bluebloods would still rake in the lion's share based on TV ratings. The future is not going to have even media distributions.
