  1. Ah, so we’re in the “baker looks pretty good” part of the current cycle.
  2. That would require evangelicals to actually have principles. They literally think trump is jesus cause libruls bad. That's all they fucking care about. They would have rejected him a long time ago if their supposed "values" really mattered even a little to them.
  3. I think they think it helps th since they are losing bigly on the issue.
  4. He’s going to keep blaming them for the nonexistent strike, right?
  5. We used to call this the Stillwater Spectacles Splash.
  6. Should have said "there are plans to fix healthcare, concepts of a plan at least, or so I've heard."
  7. An extra hour or two on a plane can't be that big of a difference so is the reason they are in the Big West for everything else because they haven't wanted to spend as much on being more competitive in those sports?
  8. Saving up for her divorce lawyers.
  9. So I guess this is where the "abortion after birth" thing is coming from, as expected, complete fucking bullshit. It concerns late term abortions that are not elective but for medical reasons and involving horrific circumstances that nobody wants or expects. So of course they just refer to it as regular old baby killing. Fuck these people. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/fact-check-vp-debate-2024/?fbclid=IwY2xjawFrnDZleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHa_bT94OwhHhkGlhl9nSZUseSg4uLx3B2q1x96wszPsDhVaIK7dJal460A_aem_DIr4I7U_Tb4Wk1eGPA2mvA Misleading: Vance says Minnesota law Walz signed says "a doctor that presides over an abortion where the baby survives, the doctor is under no obligation to provide life-saving care to a baby who survives a botched, late-term abortion." Vance: "The Minnesota law you signed into law, the statute that you signed into law, it says that a doctor that presides over an abortion where the baby survives, the doctor is under no obligation to provide life-saving care to a baby who survives a botched, late-term abortion." Details: Vance's statement omits key context about the law. In 2023, Walz signed a bill that updated state law regarding medical care for infants "born alive" as a result of an abortion. Both the previous and updated law state that an infant "born alive shall be fully recognized as a human person, and accorded immediate protection under the law." Previously, the law required medical professionals to take all reasonable measures to "preserve the life and health of the born alive infant." After the update, medical personnel are required to take all reasonable measures "to care for the infant who is born alive" — a change advocates say allows parents of infants not expected to survive to forgo extraordinary and futile interventions. Late-term abortions typically occur to save the mother's life or when families are facing situations where the fetus is unlikely to survive long after birth. The Minnesota Department of Health reported eight infants "born alive" from 2019 to 2022. According to the records, three of those infants were classified as "previable" or not developed enough to survive outside the uterus; three were provided "comfort care as planned;" and two had fetal anomalies.

    South Park

I've lost a lot of interest, not just because I can't figure out where the new stuff is, but everything they've done in recent years has leaned way too heavy into social commentary and far less on the characters being funny on their own merits. I haven't even seen the Ozimpic special yet, I have a pretty good feeling what their approach will be on that topic. Just feels super preachy with a libertarian-ish tilt. I might see it eventually, maybe not. The new Kendrick Lamar thing seems dubious as well. Baseketball and Orgazmo were peak Matt and Trey, that era of South Park was terrific too. I'd be fine if they just called it on South Park at this point.
  11. My guess is she's "full-throated" plenty in her life none of which are her current husband.
  12. So his wife is a baby murderer and his running mate's wife is a "darkie." Just more examples that policy and principles mean nothing to "conservative" voters.
  13. That's pretty much where it currently stands. Most policies involve interviews and some level of medical documentation that the individual has genuinely transitioned. Some policies still require testosterone and other testing but I think the trend is going away from that because it isn't really making a difference and hasn't justified the intrusiveness. If a transgendered woman were to start utterly dominating, especially in an individual sport, my guess is that these committees would meet and discuss but it just hasn't become an issue. As most on here have said, this affects less than 1% of competitive athletes nationwide, and within that group, there has been maybe a handful of examples of a transgender woman winning competitions, none of which were utter domination. Or as 52-80 would say "nO SoLuTiOnS HaVe bEeN CoNsIdErEd oR DiScUsSeD AnD I Am cOnCeRn."
  14. She supports abortion through the 150th trimester. That must be where trump is getting "they're killing them after birth."
  15. Walz had a great line that I don’t see mentioned much when responding to the “states should decide.” He said individual freedoms shouldn’t be determined by geography. Looks like Melania agrees. Not that she really cares, that jacket is probably still in her closet.
  16. The reason I feel that Harris is definitely going to win is that I’ve never in my lifetime seen members of the opposing party supporting a candidate at this level. I feel like the never-trumpers this cycle should at least offset or possibly even exceed the trump-only cultists.
  17. Nobody has said that, you’re the one glossing over shit to continue your disingenuous narrative. Troph and others have made clear that it deserves some attention and nuance when it comes to competitiveness, she’s said it multiple times. You choose to ignore it and it’s why people are rightfully inferring that you’re just one of millions of people who are using this as a pretext to simply undermine the very existence of transgendered persons.
  18. Well yeah, but millions of people saw that South Park episode where Randy Savage wore a bow on head and dominated a bunch of women. This is their concern, dude.
  19. I really didn't understand his "Trump saved Obamacare" strategy either, can't imagine many on the right like that response considering they've called it a socialist hellscape for so long. If it was so bad how was it salvagable?
  20. Question stated without any reference to rules that are in place at every major competitive level. So most respondents are thinking Randy Savage wearing a bow and competing against women. The discussion is meaningless without that context, and the most vocal don't give a shit because their sole interest is in virtue signaling.
  21. Conference realignment has fucked up so many rivalries I really am jaded about it at this point and really don't care. Nevertheless, I think there's a valid argument about the big rivalries taking up the ratings that week. I personally would rather see BU-TCU and UU-BYU on that week as well but ultimately doesn't make a shit.
