  1. Check out the first page with the links machine provided. They're working great
  2. Thank gawd no more Tom Herman Texas Football.
  3. Not trying to turn this more political than it already is but don't kid yourself. There's definitely a HUGE split within the party with respect to policing, and we all saw it when they played semantics with "defunding." Don't put it past (I'm assuming) your party to feel that "law and order" needs to be reestablished. And if you don't believe me, just look at Clinton's 3 strike rule and other criminal policies, and Obama's "get tough [read mass deportations] at the border." Both parties suck ass when it comes to policing. But I'd also argue policing could be substituted for just about any other topic.
  4. I'll never understand these guys (or the laws in Texas, for that matter /no cr) for not having something so basic covered in 2021. People will say "don't smoke weed" and they have their opinion. He's a dumbass in my mind for not knowing how to pass a test. His speed could've been utilized
  5. This is the second article he has now done this. Hey, fuckface, kinda hard to look for consistency when you're still out from said injury and not participating in Spring.
  6. I mean... I feel the same way when someone gets all worked up over a "mass shooting" that was actually a gang shooting with 2 innocent bystanders involved or the like and we come back here to post the same things. I get it tho. Back to "what on earth are we going to do about this mess?" Too busy to explain the nuance to people that don't want to get it or achieve the goals they proclaim to want.
  7. The same ones who get angry at "thoughts and prayers" find it acceptable to proclaim "can't do shit anyways." Yeah, this country is fucked. As I stated earlier, thanks @Bama Chick for stating what too many dems are too chicken shit to state. As an "assualt rifle" gun owner, I can admit owning them for no other reason than they're 1) fun to shoot and 2) millions of others already own them. Definitely not sufficient reasons and I'd welcome discussions with people like @Bama Chick on pathways forward because I know exactly where she stands on the matter. It's the same ones who rationalized sandy hook and won't take any measures to prevent gun violence that prevent anything happening that are just as problematic people who don't admit they just want flat out abolishment. Hardly anyone is having the same discussion.
  8. Or maybe anytime any shooting occurs we don't immediately rush to state our same talking points or mock those that suggest ideas on how to advance discourse on gun control? Crazy talk.
  9. Lol yep. You bet.
  10. At least you're a Democrat who'll actually say it. I don't see how to have this discussion, much less any legislation, when each side won't truly state their intentions. Please don't think I'm making a "both sides" argument. Rather, it's an indictment on the 2 party political system. On an unrelated note, I'm starting to think that it (sadly) may be time to rethink the definition of a "mass shooting." Reason being is that it sometimes isn't, or at least, not what we've known to be a "mass shooting." I realize it's merely semantics but does little for discourse amongst the hard core reds and blues. Take the incident before this post about the shooting(s) in FT Worth. 20 years ago, that would've never been reported as a mass shooting, and I'm still surprised it was if the gang retaliation/violence mo is true. Blue folks instantly scream "We've got another 1!!1!!!" Red folks immediately retort "They were criminals not law abiding citizens!!!1!!!" Meanwhile, again if what the article above says is true, this ONE single incident doesn't apply to the common talking points. So we just end up talking past each other and nothing gets done. Yes, innocent bystanders were involved and adds another heartbreaking element to the story (and I would argue the ages of the offenders and the circumstances of their upbringings warrant some sympathy, as well), but I believe placing this under the mass shooting category does more harm than good. School shootings, places of worship, the shooting in Las Vegas or shootings that result in multiple loss of life or injury, those should be the ones more heavily scrutinized and focused on. But that's just my independent (aka spineless for not taking sides) POV.
  11. The running game should be ridiculous this season. Bijan is Bijan. Thompson has wheels. Johnson will be channeling his inner Cody and delivering "faces full of Johnson." Young, who'd start for more than half the conference, excels in short yardage and is far from a liability, should he have to come in. You add in the kid from Halletsville and the D2(or 3?) leading rusher from 2 years ago, who hasn't even put Burnt Orange on yet, and our running game should look unfair in more than half the games. If we start hearing about another receiver steadily adding to Whittington's threat as a playmaker, I'll be keg standing koolaid. 10 wins is absolutely the minimum and I would go insofar as to say conference championship appearance. '20s are about to FAAFO.
  12. A survey card came to mind after reading this... that'd be some shit.
  13. That sounds about right
  14. A buddy was giving me the rundown on this that he heard from his mother in law. Started off something about China surrounding the US and then quickly turned into "a deal being made" between Biden and them. He couldn't really explain it fully, since he doesn't buy in to the bs, so I was hoping to come across something more detailed. I'm still confused.
  15. I'm not an expert by any means, just a fat ass that enjoys bbq, but is it supposed to be cut so thick? Looks like my 80 lbs pitbull would be chewing on it for hours...
  16. I didn't have any side effects either. The only reason it happened was from me tensing up. In fact, I didn't even notice the bump until I felt a small, non continuous, itch at the injection site 2 days later. Just wanted to make that clear because I've been getting people registered left and right for the J&J shot. No one I know personally has had any side effects with it, including parents and grandparents. J&J is the troof!!
  17. Quoting you but for anyone getting the J&J vaccine, something I wish I would've been told beforehand, it's not like a normal flu shot (specifically in duration.) Expect the injection to last a solid 20-30 seconds after the needle enters. I mention this because I tensed up towards the end and ended up with a marble sized bump that had to be smoothed and massaged out over the next couple days.
  18. Or more likely, "I heard you just got your learner's permit, too!"
  19. He looks like he's still a year away physically, but I don't know shit about QBs.
  20. I can already see people losing their minds when he starts this fall. Barring a major transfer, I would not be uninterested in the idea. Speaking of crazy talk, I wouldn't be opposed to Jamison getting some time there. His playmaking ability and instincts could be even better suited (not saying he isn't already a good corner) with everything in front of him playing centerfielder. (See punt returns for proof)
  21. Moreover, the strategy being used by Flood seems like a hell of a better approach to accomplishing Hand's goal of "manufactured depth." I think during his 3 years here, it was only Ghirmai (results speak for themself) and Okafor (really just a continuation from previous staffs) who trained at more than one position besides Kerstetter. How the fuck is that supposed to work when the majority of the lineman being recruited are either swing or developmental takes? This shit drove me batty
  22. Thanks for the comparison but you can just thank me next time, homie.
