  1. That comment is more geared towards Herman, shouldn't have said Ash. Was trying to multitask and failed.
  2. We've seen many examples where this very blatantly wasn't the case, even in this season. I'm not sure what your suggesting can be said for a guy who has been a starter on special teams since he stepped foot on campus. All I'm saying is that I'll give him the benefit of doubt before Ash or Herman.
  3. In a game (the only game besides Utah) in which we thoroughly dominated from start to finish? My money is on Orlando not utilizing him (shocker!) and Ash, for whatever reason, not liking him too much but that knee surgery probably didn't help either. Regardless, the kid should be playing more than special teams and doesn't align at all with how Herman's philosophy on playing time goes out. Also, how in the Mississippi fuck do we get a rotation that no one can decipher but not this kid included in it? That's even more baffling to me.
  4. I see. And what does the AD do exactly? Or, in what capacity does he possess the right to tell everyone around him to fuck off (i.e. donors?) Yeah, I think you might be mistaken how the whole funding for athletics works at Texas (and most schools except aggy.) You're kidding yourself if you don't think you need the big money involved.
  5. Jaguarsfan.gif So how exactly does a blue blood or, hell, any school for that matter, get a coach and build their program?
  6. What does calling a timeout have to do with practice? In fact, wouldn't you say they've "practiced" that?
  7. Why are they letting the clock drain?
  8. But then there's that pesky snapping the ball thing
  9. At least we didn't run it on 3rd down...?
  10. Where we've historically scored little to no points. I think I see the problem...
  11. Sad part is that they did what they needed to do with tempo. Play calling, however, different subject... Also to those of you talking shit about the punter-- he's purposefully trying to kick away from Baylor's returnman. Shit's probably going to get fucky today.
  12. I bet Tom Herman shows us on this drive why he makes the big bucks...
  13. Got held and made a sack. Hell of a play
  14. What if it was the classic uniform that everyone is crazy about but in black?... still no takers? I'm fucking with you, Pete.
  15. Almost disappointed this isn't what was expected. A black uniform would've been great to see people lose their minds over and would've helped expedite the firing process.
  16. Fired? Probably not but at least he doesn't get an extension and a blank fucking check to pass off his bullshit excuse for an offense onto another OC. At least we all seem unified this time around that the HC at Texas needs to be something beyond shitcanned, and we didn't have to lose to fucking Kansas to reach this conclusion. Now all we can hope for is that a segment (albeit large) of our base can get it through their thick skulls that this isn't the same game it was 30-50 years ago and if we want to remain relevant in college football, we need to play the same game (within reason) as the heavyweights and aggy, or else it's shit and fuckall that we'll be competing for.
  17. I'd argue that, even with a full offseason, what we're seeing is what it would've been anyways... because this is Herman's offense and he stubbornly refuses to adapt. On a related note, so fucking sick of hearing the excuse "new coordinators/position coaches." It's on Tom that put himself in that position. Why should he get a pass for continuing to fuck up something he already fucked up on from the start? This offense sucks and there's no excuse for Tom Herman.
  18. "Nooooooo! [Giggling]"- you slipped out and put it back but in the wrong hole she wanted.
  19. I said it (created a thread) 1st half of KU last year and have maintained Herman and his version of the pro spread sucks. Once it was reported Herman didn't want Harrell and an air raid, I knew regardless of the pick, the "new" offense would still be the same bullshit. Maybe it's just watching it on TV but can anyone make a convincing argument that there's a difference between last year's offense and this one (12 personnel for reasons...? And a handful of wrinkles to the existing 11 personnel sets aside?) Maybe I'm just blind.
