  1. Perhaps in the draft but I think he'll have a great career in the league for his versatility as well as production.
  2. That fucker got the extra 2 inches we urrr... y'all all probably want. Lucky bastard with his dick arm...
  3. Gotta admit at first, I was pissed when I heard Texas. Then she said Dallas and the Houstonian in me snickered a bit. And yes, she's got to be one hell of a fuck.
  4. Looking for a house to rent and came across this gem But it has a roof!!!
  5. Yes we were talking about those over 17 Huh. Did not know. Thanks!
  6. To my understanding, you don't file (as in, you can't) if you earn less than 10k or something. If I'm wrong, please enlighten me. And regardless, dependents don't file taxes individually so I'm not sure how this would qualify them for stimulus.
  7. The problem is is that it's not just young people that have never filed. It's anyone who didn't file last year and/or ANY "dependent" age 17 or older doesn't qualify. Think about that for a second. We're not just talking about those who are lazy and don't want to work at anything (I'll argue this number is lower than many people believe.) We're talking special needs, disabled and SSI recipients, grandparents that live in their children's homes and other forms of unpaid caregivers, common law wed couples who have kids (they'll get some but not all they should. Especially if one doesn't work), etc. There's a sizable population not receiving stimulus money that could really use it. Instead, we thumb our noses at these people because "well, it wasn't like they were contributing to the economy before..." BS. Everyone has a social security number. Most (pertaining to this topic) have some form of identification. You can start there and use tax filings to make sure you're getting money into the hands who need it. But yeah, the government moves slow and there will be people in the position to make it happen, not, because reasons.
  8. Did unemployed college kids get stimulus checks? My problem is accounting for people. I know tax returns and the IRS is the easiest way but it doesn't account for everyone.
  9. More like the players are trying to get "R" done... I'll see myself out.
  10. I don't see the problem here... /
  11. If anyone has an example of a salaried entry level position, I'd still love to hear it. Even in an office setting. It's important because salaried positions usually have benefits attached to them. Hourly hardly ever does.
  12. Me too but most companies don't operate this way. 50% raises in pay after one year just don't happen. If you're in the position to do so, kudos to you. Also like you said, not every job is in a professional setting. The point was that a starting wage needs to be commensurate with the cost of living. If the figures you're using comes from when I was hiring people starting at $15 an hour, there's a few items you're accounting for that the people I employed didn't have to factor (like gas since I reimbursed them. $80 would've been for a week with what we were doing.) Again, by no means is it a great or even good wage. It's doable for some, not enough for others. At least I could recognize this and did what I could. Companies that payout close to the minimum wage are soulless.
  13. It's a livable wage dependent on where you live. I'm still struggling with the idea of a salaried starting position...
  14. I was referring to your campsite guy anecdote and your subsequent reply that the government may influence people's decision to work or not (unemployment.) Wasn't meant to be a personal attack or anything, just saying you're off base. Plus, name one entry level job (one that requires no previous work history or specific education) that pays salary. It's a big difference. Those places you saw that advertised employment, I'd bet my last dollar, is one of those jobs that pays $10/hr. at best starting out. They'll continue to need help because they're too stupid to realize the need to invest in people as well as their business. This is a good point as well. My company was in Houston and served pretty much all of SE Texas. $15 an hour isn't baller status by any means, but none of my guys were on food stamps either. In California, I'd put it somewhere in the 20s depending on the area.
  15. Yeah that's not why employees get paid shit wages at entry level jobs. I mean, in theory, sure. But these are some of the same businesses that were paying minimum wage or close to it before the shit storm. What's their excuse now? The fact is that when you treat labor (financially speaking) as expendables, they'll constantly keep a wondering eye out like someone stuck in a bad relationship. There's no loyalty at ~$9-10. Sorry. You pay people a livable wage and you'd be surprised at how little turnover you get. And before anyone tries to lay into the whole "you just don't understand how..." I've already lived it owning a flooring company paying my lowest laborers $15/hr (demo crew) with all the hours they could ask for, plus gas reimbursement for jobsite travel. Never had a problem with any of my crews. Sure, my margins took a little hit but my outlook was on growth. Worked out great if not for doing the truly stupid thing-- getting in business with and entrusting a fucking aggy. /rant

It's an arizer extreme. https://slickvapes.com/products/arizer-extreme-q-vaporizer?variant=18739558849 It basically uses conduction and convection to vaporize the weed. Similar concept to my volcano just a lot cheaper.
