should i be concerned about my mom checking out my date?
How was Coors Field? One of many stadiums on my "need to visit" list. If nothing else, for the weather alone.

That's great. Post your review afterwards if you can
Well, I have never claimed to be a good reviewer, but I sure had a great time.
Missed Testament and part of the Behemoth set, because man they started the show early. I've seen Behemoth a few times before, and I actually saw Testament opening for Judas Priest many moons ago (Painkiller tour).
Behemoth tight as always, but this was my first time seeing them outside during daylight hours. I think their act plays better in a bit more intimate setting and when it is dark. Just in terms of mood.
Anthrax is Anthrax. Sounds like they never aged somehow, to me. I was never the giant fan of theirs, but I never hated them either. They know what they're doing, and "caught in a mosh," "antisocial," and "Indians" were fun as hell.
Lamb Of God. Hard for me to be unbiased about this one as I've always dug them. Occasionally the vocals either got swallowed in the mix or Randy was taking some breaths, but it was minor. They didn't play "Vigil" or "Black Label" which had me a little disappointed. They closed with "Redneck" instead. I'm not as much of a fan of their newer stuff, but still very, very good show.
Ah, then Slayer. Well, you know what you're getting here. Audience was great, and Slayer was super. The setlist here looks accurate. That South of Heaven/Reign In Blood combo would get any metal head up and screaming. Or at least, it should.
Great show, if it comes your way, and you're on this thread, then you should probably go. I think Anthrax and Behemoth drop out on the second leg, and Napalm Death will join up.

Going to the Slayer/Lamb Of God/Anthrax/Behemoth/Testament show this evening. Good night for some metal.

I probably should read up on advanced statistics and batting order, but it does appear to me that Seager should move down in the order. He seems to kill a lot of potential when he comes up to bat these days. Hopefully he gets on fire soon, because at this point he is becoming our third base version of Brendan Ryan.

That would be nice.
The Paxton/Severino matchup on Thursday should be awesome, either way.
I think Houston plans to keep on winning for a while, which is very selfish of them, imo.

You know, it is kind of wild that the Mariners have the season going us fans have been wanting for some time. And we have it after the Astros turned into a juggernaut that cannot be stopped.

Found on reddit. Two fans having some fun during a play review:

Has to be the most excited Mariners crowd I've seen at this point in the season in quite some time.
-
Doh. Haven't updated the program yet.He was, got released a couple weeks ago.
Oh well, I am getting to see the Shark pitch for Sacramento. -
I don't keep up with minor league ball. At RR Express game and find out Lincecum is on this team. Whoa.
-
Well, there went first place.
For now.

Haniger. That's my boy. Love that kid.
That trade for Segura and Haniger sure looks good at this point. Have liked Segura from the start. Haniger has been quite the surprise for me.

That's a sweep, by the way, of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

You're correct, Beau. I found a twitch feed of that broadcast and uh, back to MLB audio feed for me. Wow.
The shaking strike zone is enough to give on nausea. The announcers a whole new level of awful. On and on. Yeah, f that.
