  1. Rosario having a hell of a night
  2. Urias not having a good 2nd inning.
  3. I thought you were smarter than this. I really did. I guess I was wrong. Point to where I said a Mariners pitcher cheating is OK. Please. And then once again tell me what it has to do with what you brought up in this thread.
  4. So who brought it up again? And I was fine with the punishment dealt to the reliever in question. But again, that line of attack has nothing to with the tainted World Series.
  5. Drunk already? Edit: or just the usual Goumand idiocy. Sorry, I should know better and keep you on ignore.
  6. Astros fans in this thread are the ones who brought it up. If you had stuck with the Laz Diaz stuff you would have been fine.
  7. Sad to see otherwise intelligent folks perform whatever mental leaps and justification they can come up with to say the largest cheating scandal since a thrown world series is not a big deal. Their tainted WS will always be seen as such by anyone not a homer. When your morals involve 'some others cheated and maybe even someone else cheated' as somehow justification for outright cheating to win a World Series, then your integrity is indeed situational. Perhaps if you go digging in those trashcans without a lid on them you can find where you threw your conscience away. And deep down you know its true, or you wouldn't voluntarily bring it up in desperate search of internet likes from fellow travelers.
  8. Alas....
  9. “My colleagues, every statement I make today is backed up by sources, solid sources,” he said in the now infamous 5 February 2003 briefing. “These are not assertions. What we’re giving you are facts and conclusions based on solid intelligence.” That's not the sound of doubt.
  10. (edit: reply to whatthebuck) That was the first hit, man. And they cited sources, so go ahead and carry water I guess. But I one thousand percent disagree with you. Has nothing to do with his death really. He lived to 84 years old and never stood trial for his war crimes, as will nobody else responsible for it all.

  12. Henry Kissinger is 98 years old. Edit: I see that's already been covered.
  13. Man he got all of that.
  14. It is the same silly tough talk. Internet negs, such serious business.
  15. No lecture for Rimbo? Curious.
  16. Fun series. What great pitching. Strike zones were inconsistent as they have been all year it seems. Then there is that last call. A great game like that deserves to end better. That said, congrats @Sbbruin. Can’t imagine the nerves to actually be a fan of a team in games like this.
  17. Gotcha. So they'll use Urias, just not as a starter.
  18. Stoked for a game 5. Whoever wins just hope it's a good game with a consistent strike zone. Well, at least a good game.
  19. I've been too busy all day--what happened to Urias?
  20. Dear Mariners Fans by Mitch Haniger | The Players' Tribune (theplayerstribune.com)
  21. I remember a long time ago not knowing how that went. I was at a bar in Boston in the late 90s. Regular season game and whoever the Red Sox were playing, it wasn't NYY. Boston wins the game and the "Yankees Suck" chant breaks out...the entire bar full of folks. An eye opener for sure.
  22. Well that was a curb stomping. That throw from Betts to 3rd base that killed the Giants best attempt at a rally was killer.
  23. I honestly haven't found one that is presta only...looking on performance bike, jensonusa and chain reaction. Edit: I did find a dual head one like Braff describes. Maybe that's best bet?
