That's not what sets a program up for failure for a decade.

Charlie Strong was handed a Cadillac from head coach Willie Taggart at USF and went 10-2 in his first year. Then he went 7-6 and 4-8 and was fired. Someone convince me Charlie Strong would have had different results if he'd been handed a more talented team at Texas. Go ahead.

The problem wasn't Mack Brown. The problem was Charlie Strong. He was a bad hire. So was Tom Herman. Unless Mack Brown had some input into those hires, he's not responsible for their failures. It doesn't matter the talent on the team. A coach who is a poor fit is going to have poor results regardless of any other factor. A great coach who is a great fit is going to get great results regardless of the handicaps. You have to hire the right coach. That's the most important thing. The second most important thing is being able to keep him once you find him.

Respectfully disagree here.  We've seen many, many instances of very talented teams winning in spite of shitty coaching.

Or when a 6 year old Palestinian child was stabbed 26 times and killed in Illinois by a psychotic Zionist, or when that Zionist freak fired 17 shots at a car carrying two Israeli tourists (he thought they were Palestinian because they had brown skin) in Florida, or the 3 Palestinian students shot in Vermont (one of whom is now paralyzed) for wearing keffiyahs and speaking Arabic on the street, or the guy who stabbed a Palestinian-American after a protest near UT in Austin for wearing a scarf that said "Free Palestine", etc etc.

I could go on but it's a bit exhausting at this point.

I really don't think you'd win this one if we're keeping score.

People mature at differing speeds, so I see the value in both differentiating adults from juveniles, as well as evaluating juveniles as individuals. I have no sympathy for these teenage murderers, other than holding out hope our society will effort to rehabilitate fucked up juveniles. Wishful thinking.

They thought they had a reason, which was to save their own skin. If you think that reason isn’t one our country sometimes accepts as justification, you haven’t been paying attention. Parse this statement all you want, but frame your rebuttal within the mindset of someone who is not yet an adult, as our laws insist we do.

Living in a country which twice elected a president who has bragged about his ability to kill someone for no reason, without consequence, has diminished my ability to share the moral outrage I read in this thread.

Your opinions about child murders changed because Trump was elected a second time? Get out of here with that weak Cloak Room bullshit.

    High

Let's say a young person is searching for their first job and will be drug tested by a potential employer.  Do they test for weed usually?  What's the best way to help pass the test?

One hour and 8 minutes in, these idiots pull in the ESPN announcer and make him answer for his mean remarks

  5. Went a few years ago with wife and teenage kids.  Our VRBO was near The Hudson.  It was great - American-style food.  Ate there twice.  Can't really remember the others - this one stood out.
