  1. this was in my neighborhood, it's a rat snake and the story was from last year
  2. Exactly. These fucking mouth breathers love to rail against the undocumented population while staying completely fucking silent on Trump employing them in his properties. They’re being played like a fiddle while the ones with the money laugh all the way to the bank Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. i'm not having it both ways. I'm a Mexican-born person whose family immigrated to the US and received amnesty in 1986. I'm well aware of the racism in Mexico, and the hypocrisy of the Mexican government decrying the US treatment of its citizens while they treat Central Americans worse. i don't know, maybe i'm spit-balling here, perhaps we should hold our country to a higher standard than Mexico. Call me crazy though
  4. i think it's interesting to see other families' budgets as a benchmark. we don't shop whole foods or any fancy places like that, so i would expect my budget to be less than a similar sized family who shops there often.
  5. we do big HEB delivery once a week and costo every other week for non-perishables. I haven't really noticed a huge price increase with delivery versus if we go in-store. we both hate grocery shopping so the delivery tip and whatever markup they're doing is completely worth it to us. family of 5 we spend about $800-$1000 a month and about $500 or so eating out. we used to eat out a lot but we're cutting back on that. funny how much money we have left over at the end of the month when you don't eat out 3-4 times a week

    Burgers

what the fuck man, no love for crown and anchor? black sheep lodge also makes a mean burger
  7. we talked to some dude from texas at parque de los sueños who got busted for drinking a beer while driving a cart. said it cost a few hundred bucks to get him out. i don't think it's an issue of driving somewhere, drinking there, and heading back. but if you have a beer on the golf cart the motorcycle cops will bust you.
  8. this. we've gone before after august 4th or so and it's less crowded and rentals are much cheaper. we've stayed in santa rosa beach
  9. Isla does not suck. Ballyhoo straight out the ferry and north garden chilaquiles this morning. Current view chilling in front of Coco Hitting up Basto’s tonight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. we are traveling with our mexican passports to avoid the tourist/visa lines. fuck that noise
  11. USA transfers is the consensus for airport to ferry transport correct? booked it and it didn't ask for payment info. it said they're reviewing it for availability and they'll contact me. is this right?
  12. we finally got CoA permit approved two weeks ago and loan closing last week. Dig commenced two days ago and they're making good progress. construction supervisor said we should be swimming by memorial day
  13. yup, my wife is an AISD teacher. Luckily i work for a great company with great benefits and I added her to my plan for less than what she would pay for a shittier plan at AISD
  14. if you're against giving teachers a raise you're a miserable fucking fuck.
  15. just through the site, wasn't aware you could book through an individual owner. is this via VRBO? i'll check We are staying at Villa Kiin. didn't feel like spending a lot of money, and this was the closest to the beach in playa norte without dropping a couple hundred per night
  16. i bet you it's the MAF, mass airflow sensor. My lexus did the same thing. Take it off, and grab a can of compressed air and make sure the little filaments are clean. if it has 200k miles you may just want to buy a new one. check on ebay should be able to get one for under $50 new
  17. booked our trip to Isla for Mar 15-20. I've been to Isla before on day trips but never stayed there. Past few times we've stayed in PdC. super excited, tried booking Ixchel and it was all booked up.
  18. i've done this and they come out great. Smoke it, wrap it in butcher paper, re-heat in the butcher paper in an aluminum pan until internal temp hits 140.
  19. No, it's just that pool builders are busy as fuck right now. everyone trying to get their pool built by summer, including me. no on in-floor cleaning, yes on robot. it's only $200 more than the polaris vacuum, cleans the walls, and you won't need to run the pump for it to work. i'm also having a gabled covered patio built and those guys are busy as fuck too. home improvement business in austin is booming
  20. exactly. as a father of two girls, i'll be damned if i'm footing the bill for a wedding. Sure, i'll contribute, but if the guy wants to marry her he better save up
  21. we signed up with Denali as did my best friend. I'm waiting for loan application to finish with RBFCU to break ground. Hoping to have that done in next 2 weeks and break ground. my buddy's is going fairly fast. broke ground in december and they've finished gunnite coping and water tile. I called a bunch of companies and got a call back only from Texas Pools and Patios, Denali, KB custom pools, California pools, and Allied outdoor solutions. Got final designs and estimates from the first 4. went with denali due to design and price. ran into a shit-ton of issues with designs because of impervious coverage limitations
  22. LOL, i bet it's been about Barron-years long since Melania has done it with Dotard
