Foo Fighters if I had to pick. But I don't pay much attention to either band anymore. I was more into Foo at one point than I was ever into Killers. I have purchased like 3 or 4 Foo albums and 1 Killers album in my life. I liked Hot Fuss when it came out, and Mr. Brightside is one of my go-to Karaoke songs, but I couldn't have even named a second Killers album until I popped in here and was reminded about Sam's Town. Also Don't Shoot Me Santa is a great Christmas song.
I remember Summer of 2004 through The Killers and Modest Mouse. Float on and Somebody Told Me dominated alt rock radio. Pinback put out a great album that year, too.
That Weezer sketch feels like it was ripped from my brain. Team Leslie all the way. I was obsessed with Weezer in junior high. Their first two records still hold up. I used to keep a blank space in my CD book for album #3. But I never even got around to buying it. It's probably not even that bad, but they were never the same after Matt Sharp left.
Random funny story - a guy I worked with ran into the bassist at a grocery store in the early/mid aughts. He said something like, "dude, I love your first few albums!" And the bassist was like, "yeah we kinda suck now, huh."
As a podcaster once said (cant remember which one), the simple explantion is Presti just liked the deal. Slorch's ransom, if you will.
Thought Kevin Martin would replace 80% of Harden's production or w/e. Lol
Find out in 2027!
But seriously, Abby knew about her dead friends and thought Tommy killed them. I would guess she was nearby the aquarium and followed them or tracked them or something.
Maybe his playstyle was similar to mine in the early/mid 90's. I would seek out landmarks (like the Golden Gate bridge) and intentionally crash into them.
So fucking bizarre this is happening to the last person you'd expect.
Also chortling at those of you who leapt to discredit Pablo Torre's kickass reporting after UNC's meager non-denial.
Memory is fuzzy but I thought they were definitely going to kill her w/ surgery or whatever.
And I also thought the cure was just a theory - there was no guarantee it was gonna work. So I was a bit confused when Joel said yes to that question.
my one previous complaint about Max was that it was one of those apps where I had to turn the volume up to like 80 to achieve a reasonable volume. However somewhere along the line I guess it was addressed, now it's a more normal 40-55 like most every other app.
Bryan Cranston gave the "way too fucked up" performance of a lifetime. Scarily convincing.
My wife goes to Cinemacon every year for work. I've been a few times. The Kool Aid Man stunt shit was hilarious and accurate. Studio bigwigs do performative stunts like that for their presentations.
Same. I can still vaguely remember picking it up on release day and playing it in our dorm room before class. I was a fan of 1/2 and was obsessed with the idea of GTA in a 3D world. Hype had been building for years.
Vice City and San Andreas were non numbered sequels.
